I'm trying to compile a list of every game that features either as a mechanic, or as a feature photography

I'm trying to compile a list of every game that features either as a mechanic, or as a feature photography.

Mechanic:
Beyond Good & Evil
Pokemon Snap
Dead Rising 1,4, (I never played the DLC missions so I'm not sure which ones had them or not)
Mgs2 + 4

Feature:
Mad max (2015)

What other games Cred Forums? Help an autist compile a dumb list

2 Zelda games: Majora's Mask and Wind Waker

The Order 1886
The Last of Us
Bioshock 1
Bioshock 2

...

Dark cloud 2

what did frank mean by this

WoW

GTA V

Well this thread is already more comprehensive then the wikipedia list

Gta 5 and Gta San Andreas for sure

Fatal Frame

Pokemon snap

DOOM

Yakuza series, depending on character you play as. With some you can take shots of memorable moments and then gain new finishing moves. And Yakuza 5 has you photographing landmarks.

Yakuza 6 is going to feature selfie camera, and probably something else.

Wind Waker
Majora's Mask

MGS1 and the VR missions game have cameras you can find and use.

In Resident Evil: Outbreak, you can play as David, who is a handyman/plumber.

Akiba's Trip 2

All sony first party games have photomodes if that qualifies.

Also every fatal frame.

I don't think photomode counts, you have to actually have character in game actually use the camera.

Mgs3
Saved the images on your memory card.

Spiderman games? Not sure which ones though. Think Ultimate may have.

Various GTAs

Protagonist in Life Is Strange is a wanna be photographer

Vice city as well, in IV you could snap pics with your phone

SoniComi. You literally play as photographer who has to take pictures of Sonico.

Bully

Touhou Shoot the Bullet and Double Spoiler

Life is Strange

Far Cry 4

Op here, thanks for all the posts, One game that keeps pooping up but was never released was Warco - looked interesting.

He's got mad max listed and as far as I know that's just a photo mode.

Bioshock and Bioshock 2 have a camera as a "weapon" that takes pictures to research enemies.

You use a camera in a quest in Fallout New Vegas to take pictures of signs for an NPC if that counts.

Silent Hill: Shattered Memories

Gran Turismo series, probably other sports games as well

"Summertime High School: A Young Man's Notes—How a New Exchange Student Like Myself Ran Into His Childhood Friend on the School Tour, Then for Some Reason Became Super-Popular with the Girls for His Daily Scoops on the School Photography Club Even Though He Only Takes Panty Shots, and What He Thinks as He Goes on Dates During His Summer of Island School Life."

I never played it but I've seen some crazy shots come out of forza

Gameboy Camera

Pretty sure you have to take photos of murder victims in the first Condemned.

GTA IV too, although to a lesser extent than GTA V.

You do

> that features either as a mechanic, or as a feature photography
Horrible sentence, a specific mechanic IS a feature, and you forgot a comma before photography.

Those recent pokemon games had those photo points

Dinosaur Safari
Lady Safari
DoA games?

Sly Cooper 2 has you taking pictures before heists

Good one, forgot about that.

Meta

Donkey Kong 64

Myst IV: Revelation
Shadow Hearts 2 / Shadow Hearts: From the New World
Anachronox
Bully

That looks nothing like Frank West

They changed the voice actor too

WoW has an achievement for taking a picture at various locations.

There's a theory going around that it's not Frank West and that he's an actor or something.

It'll probably be what happened with MGSV.

That'd be actually pretty good, and would explain why they're going back to Willamette.

Knowing Capcom though...

Sims 3 allows your Sims to take photos. There might be an actual photo camera item as well, but by default all Sims are equipped with camera phones.

>Dead Rising 1,4
WHAT ABOUT DR OFF THE RECORD, NIGGA

...

I'm assuming OTR counts as a "DLC mission"

Peace Walker had a camera and it was used for some extra ops. Images were saved to your PSP memory card.

It's a full game

Couldn't you use the camera in MGS3 to make custom camos? Also, Infamous: Second Son has a camera feature, as does pretty much every driving game. You could seven say sports games, to a degree.

Gameboy Camera, as well.

Pretty sure that was just the 3DS version of MGS3 wasn't it?

It counts either way

It's been done m8. Sorry.
