Red Mage Vieras are the sexiest.

They have fighting animations, so you could probably hack one in to replace a party member.

You'd be surprised how little that works, Reks is a good example as hes incredibly limited in what he can do if you hack him in, even if you hack his Gambits they often fail.

A Ravager with a Tournesol can easily hit up to 500 with a Sneak Attack, while true you get them a little later their Flight is invaluable and unique. They're overall faster than most plate armor units of Humes and Bangaa, and can innate equip Ribbons. Them not having survivability is not something I've ever encountered.

Gria are still my favorite race from a gameplay and aesthetics perspective.

Paladins have the highest stat swords in the game. The only things close were like ayuvier and its partner sword or something like that I think.

They have higher growth in attack sure, but Knight Swords are just plain better swords.

You can level up the character as a fighter up to lvl 50 if you want that sick stats, but you still have to go paladin for those swords and armor.

Gear means a lot. Talwar is one of the bigger reasons Blue Mage was so good in FFTA2. Really high power for a curved sword so a dual talwar magick frenzied quaking Blue Mage was nothing to scoff at.
