Not OP, but why would the Mensis be trying to respawn Mergo for their rituals? They're trying to obtain ascendance for themselves, and are begging Kos, not Mergo, for it. It's not like Mergo seems to have much use in their plans besides being live bait to lure more powerful Great Ones
