The elven slut.

the elf is qt.

>class
>cleric
>fighter
>magicu
>thief
>ELF
>DWARF

hmmm

>good dwarf stories
>good ale every night in front of a bonfire
>he gets to cook me dwarven meals
>superior dwarven steel
>im sure he always has my back

what's a magic-u

Magic User.

why are there classes and then two races? What the fuck would a regular elf do besides get their holes stuffed?

In older DnD, Elf was a class.

So what did the elf class do then?

support like a cleric
gives buffs through pleasure

could you be a human elf?

cleric

Thief.

Good lord Thief

>tfw D&D is dead

WELCOME TO THE D&D WORLD

magic spells but not as good as a wizard
some degree of swordplay but not as good as a fighter

Your levels were limited however. They actually reflect this in the arcade game. I was shocked they went to that level of detail.

5th edition is alive and well and is one of the more popular editions. It's also closer to old school D&D than other editions.

Ill pick Magic 4U. He'll take the bosses for me

Beholders also nullified your spells if it looked at you with its anti-magic eye.

>Fighting it as a Magic User

To be fair, their own eye-rays don't work when the big eye is open either.

>mfw STICKS TO SNAKE

REVERSE GRAVITY!
Or
STICKS TO SNEKS.

since I'd be dickass thief.

Dungeons and DRAGONS dragons dragons

>can use both offensive and defensive spells
>can use bows too
Elf, she's too useful

Elf of course.

The dongers and denims

>Having issues with anything as a Magic User
His melee is surprisingly top tier.

Thief. My dick tends to fuck me over.

Cleric and we'll purge the land from evil forever.

You can fuck prositutes for nothing in these times, so forget about the elf. The thief might be nice if she's loyal, who doesn't want FREE SHIT?

>You will never travel and purify the lands with your cleric buddy
>Seeking any opportunity to meet the undeads and free their poor souls

Thief was so good at stealing shit she stole things from games she wasn't even a part of and that's how the heroes didn't die at the end of Shadow over Mystara.

Cleric actually straight up has Turn Undead in that game and it will literally trivialize any undead fights.

Probably the cleric so he can heal me if I fuck up. I'd rather not die from gangrene because of a scratch.

His special hammer found in the gnome village is simply amazing, you can feel the weight of its impacts.

That manga is so good. I just wish it wasn't so slow to update.

>He doesn't shank everyone then teleport away

Literally the first thing I thought of when I saw that select screen

>he doesnt remember old DnD rules

Magic User or Cleric

I wish Paladin was an option but cleric is good enough

I liked the first game more
Anyway Elf

This game was legit so fucking good

The sheer amount of content and depth in mechanics for a beat em up is amazing, it's just a shame I've never really found anything else on its level except maybe Guardian Heroes

Did you play Dragon's Crown?

I'd steal that thieves pocket if you know what i mean

Dragon's Crown has less content and it tries to hide it with item randomization.

I would probably ask fighter or the cleric and never talk to the thief

Elf, great versatility and cute as fuck.

Never had a real issue. Magic User was top tier as fuck.

>Wide amount of spells to use
>Wands if he ever runs out
>If he runs out of those, his knife which does massive damage sometimes

The only bosses I had trouble were was maybe an early boss or two, and the lich who resisted most spells from what I remember.

>Elf
>Versatility
You mean Cleric.

Elf has the least versatility in the entire party selection
>Less magic than Magic User and also it hurts less, complete without things like Cloud Kill
>No support/variety like Cleric
>Lacking combos and infinites like Fighter
>No Dwarf damage or HP
>Bow is worse than Thief's Sling
>Can't steal like Thief can
Still the cutest though

>magicu
What is he a weeb?

That knife is insane if you're on a lucky streak.

Too bad Magic pauses the game so often though

Cleric is most OP in that game as it should be.

If someone in your party is mediocre at everything, your survivability statistically increases and you can specialize in what you want.

And just like you, elf really is the cutest.

>And just like you, elf really is the cutest.
Oh gosh

...

>Magic user uses some big ass magic shit
>Everyone has to wait for it to finish

That's one of the few problems with the game, especially if you're playing with others, and even more if they use spells too.

Too bad there aren't many games like it, Dragon's Crown might count, but the D&D arcade games really had replay value and depth for a coin game.

Honestly I'd say it's the only true problem of the game.

You lose xp and loot which in case of zombies are scrolls.
Only absolute plebs do that.

How does turning undead help you fight undead?

...

THIEF

I WANT TO FUCK THIEF

Is that Mariah?

>It's also closer to old school D&D than other editions.
NO IT'S NEW SO IT'S BAD EVEN THOUGH I HAVEN'T PLAYED IT OR LOOKED INTO IT AT ALL I'M POSITIVE IN MY OPINION

No, stupid, it's Capcom's original character Moriah.

Elf was the original multi-class.

You get to pick only 1 (One) travelling companion for your adventure

Manlet, I like the speech build

Download link?

You're right against Zombies but against Skeletons they never drop anything so may as well turn those dudes to save time.

Dwarfs are bro tier

>still no game where you get to paly as a lawful good lich

There's one in Icewind Dale

Divinity OS 2 is gonna have skellingtons!
I personally can't wait to play as a skeleton thief. I had one in a dnd campaign for a while. Had to line the soles of his foot bones with felt. And grease and wrap his joints to stop rattly sounds.
He was animated by an undying desire to find the ultimate treasure.

it elfs

Lucia is hawt but Moriah is interesting and probably kinky, that's my dilemma.

>So what did the elf class do then?

Limit powerplay so you don't end battling ultragods.

Is this Arino? Did he play the D7D beat'em ups?

Elf
For fucking

A comparatively weaker fighter with some lower level magic spells.

what manga

I'm always for strong tomboys, but there's something about that elf...

Dungeon Meshi

more info pls

I think he means that one about dungeons and cooking.

elf, emptying my balls is going to help a lot with stress on my journey. elf doesn't look like she'll put up a fight , thief might fight back.

>closer to old school D&D than other editions
>monsters have retard 3E HP instead of AD&D HP and damage is lower than it was in 3E
Yeah, it's "real" fucking "close" to old school D&D and didn't make a mistake that makes it play nothing like old school D&D at all or anything.

You talking 'bout Larrel? Fuck I need to replay it again

The good old days when NORMAL MAN was a class that you could've been stuck with because you rolled shitty stats.

>magic-u
>not mage

>cleric can't stop talking about his god and his holy book
>magic user has dementia and doesn't care about anything
>fighter has only been fighting his whole life, has never read a book and can't say anything but "smash" "kill" "dat 'urt"
>thief can't stop telling you about all the semen she has stolen from unconscious victims
>elf is quiet all the time, and will force you to be quiet so she can her gophers fuck in the bush
>dwarf will tell you stories about his clan and the culture he grew up in. Of his days as a miner, how he mastered his crafts before he set out to be a hero, and all the beasts he has slain thus far

...

Why is the Cleric a male?

shouldn't eat crack

>why is a priest male

We can hold hands and go back to the middle ages together where you can point out to me all the female clergymen.

Autism.

As long as I get to be the Thief I don't really care.

Cleric now and forever.
>mfw I pick up the morning star for the first time. Best weapon.
I've always considered Dragon's Crown to be Mystara 3.0
Mystara will always hold a special place in my heart (and on my PS3) however.
First time I ever played the game was during a family trip to Vegas where my parents basically pawned my brother and I off to various arcades while they gambled.
A lower section of the MGM (I believe it was) used to have a TON of awesome games.
Simpsons, X-men, TMNT, Golden Axe, Gauntlet DL, Knights of the round, Virtual On...I could go on.
Was recently introduced to D&D by my best friend.
Find Mystara in the back section and proceed to waste every quarter I had. Introduced many a friend to the game since. We still play every once in a while. Trying to get them into Dragon's Crown so we can continue to build up some characters together rather then start over every time.
