THE WORLD CHANGES BASED ON THE DECISIONS YOU MAKE

>THE WORLD CHANGES BASED ON THE DECISIONS YOU MAKE

Has any game ever actually done this well enough to be significant in the game world?

No

Tetris

...

Good ol' MUDs do.

Fable
Watching trees grow in real time was so cool.

in gothic 3, anyone you kill stays dead. does that count?

Literally any game from paradox

The Void
easy, next!

Is this game any good?

is there any game that REALLY lets you do anything

...

Undertale

i'm still mad at that bald cunt

also for the sake of the thread, if i remember correctly the Long War mod for Xcom enemy within makes it so if you bail on the newfoundland chryssalid mission you get swamped with 'lids in every terror mission after that
i think that's the only "choice" in a video game that really impacted my play

Bloodborne

Civilization.

Call of duty

Life is Strange

Mass effect 3

Sengoku Rance did, but anons wouldnt know, they get triggered by the porn

Steins;Gate

tactics ogre ?

>your choices have real consequences!
>consequences are literally just a change in the end credits.

Any decent strategy game in which you can literally change world history.

Fallout 4

You can choose to turn shitty locations into cool settlements

You can blow up an entire underground base and change the area to be irradiated and have a massive crater

You can blow up a giant airship and make a ruined airport even more ruined

It is truly the greatest game of our generation!
