The Game Gear version follows the movie the closest but it's also the shittiest version. The Genesis version is more fun than the SNES version which is why I bought it. Still have my copy of it.

I grew up with the SNES version so I'm bias toward it but I like the Genesis one too. Animation is sleek as can be.
Also SNES is too easy, can beat it on 1 life, while Genesis is too hard, took my infinite lives to beat it.

Yeah I liked how accurate the SNES version was, it really captured my favorite moments from the movie like when Aladdin visited that pyramid or when he was sucked into the Genie's lamp
