Just keep rescuing everyone and use the HMG on bosses or use the HMG on the redneck in the gun shop and always carry 40 rounds of shotgun. The SMG in the food court and the SMG and katana in Paradise plaza are also critical.

It is a capcom game. You either git gud or grind enough levels to oneshot everything. Saving 50 survivors is still tricky at max level tho.

Dead Rising is a different zombie game. If you play it seriously, not just fucking around, you need to understand zombies are just moving obstacles. You don't need to destroy them just get through them. Same with survivors. Their AI is deliberately shit. You need watch the crowd all the time and look at openings, dispose or push away the zombies at the weak spots and navigate through alone or with survivors.

If you read so far here is a real tips for beginners:
- dying and starting a new game keeps your exp and skills. meaning doing a few things then dying 3 or 4 times (or more if you really suck) makes the game easy mode
- the jump kick is the best move in the entire game
- sledgehammer is the melee weapon early in the game, hits hard, sturdy and great for fast finishers
- best healing / slot ratio is orange juice or milk (respawns when you reenter), other good foods get rotten eventually
- at the beginning of a new game the north plaza gun shop is completly empty for a few hours. If you rush there right then you can stock up any number of guns you want

I didn't lose any sleep being unable to save some survivors in the first playthrough.

I was still able to get to Level 40 easily by the end of the game.

Second playthrough I went for Saint... It was not easy, even for my superpowered self, but I did it.

I had like five survivors with me the first time I encountered those assholes and I somehow made it through with all of them alive by aiming at a distant point and just telling them all to move there while I dealt with the convicts.

I was really expecting it to be my first death and that all the survivors would die, but I made it somehow. I got the convicts stuck on a tree and kicked the shit out of them. Even had to punch one to death because I broke all my melee weapons.

So what do I do on the final day now that there are spec ops everywhere and I'm at level 50. Just wait for the helicopter?

It really isn't, and it literally only gets easier as you play more. When I first fought the clown I stocked up on healing items and almost let the timer run out on his case because I thought I would get trashed instantly, and the fight lasted maybe a minute.

I got the best ending for the game a few years back and I want to replay but I might need to make the experiance a little different to put up with the AI.

About 30 in-game hours since I took a couple breaks from it to get the Paradise Plaza shortcut and a few scoops to break the monotony. After that I did a few achievements, the worst being the PP sticker one.

The highlight for this game to me was finding the hardware store and holding out on the fountain. I avoided missions as much as possible because they always killed the fun.

Obviously you're supposed to switch vehicles as they break. Use the sports car to drive up to the truck, use the truck to drive to the white sedan, and use the sedan to drive back to the sports car to start the loop again.

As a fan of the 360 version, the PS4 version is better by far. I'm loving it right now. 1080p 60fps, dips in the parking garage. The pc version is a wonderful port from what I hear, I think it is good at 1440p and 140+ fps if you can run it.

I am fucking baffled why people think they are locked into the case timer. You will have 6 hours to explore the mall in which you will do and see everything and if somehow you don't get bored running around doing absolutely nothing at all then you can just start a new run with all your levels the same and do it again.

I'm not sure if 2 is better, it's a bit of a rehash and I found the bosses disappointing. OTR is just retardedly fun though, enjoyed it immensely and I think it's the best in the series.

3 is just weird. I kind of like it but at the same time it's too easy to exploit (you have basically an infinite amount of OP vehicles and weapons which is too easy to exploit) and the graphics are ugly as fuck. I could not bring myself to finish it but I don't think it's a bad game.

It was next gen as The Darkness is next gen, it was part of the "next gen promise bundle" so to speak, it had hundreds of zombies that could actually do their own thing all of them, tons of weapons, secrets and unlockables, multiple endings, NG+, is still great and I like the way it looks, I think is rather clean, the character's texture shows just as much as they should, a lot of games (not nowadays but in general) often feels like they make hi res textures and then downscale until the game works.

Delay the game, get rotolo back, tone down on the exo suit usage and sillyness and perhaps they can salvage this. As for the exo suit i don't have such a large problem with it, considering it would make sense technology and suits for fighting zombies would exist.

I'm gonna wait it out a bit. If the PC version doesn't get mods, I'm buying the PS4 version
