Just to give you an idea, cars cost 500k on average for luxury supercars, 100-200k average brand cars, after you maxed level about time you finish the story, you add 10 random high level friends, every 12 hours you can assign them to do 9 high paying factions missions which gets you 100k for a few click, definitely generous if compared to f2p games

The RT35 is something fierce in dirt spec and might as well be a cheat code, but as a raid car it suffers from the incredibly odd gearing. For fuck's sake, it accelerates significantly faster in 3rd gear than in first, the engine just revs too slowly to compensate for the incredibly short ratios.

All cars that are behind you disappear. That pulls me right out of the game.

If I had a computer that could have a good framerate on it, it would be way more enjoyable.

It doesn't feel as copypasted as vanilla ETS2 and the storyline cities are actual cities instead of three blocks and some freight depots, but there is no mod support whatsoever, the non-storyline cities are just ETS2 tier or worse and the radio is a bad joke despite the overall quality of the soundtrack. It's still godmode for comfy roadtrips though.

Since it takes 10 skill points to reach max 20% chance you probably won't see any profit until at least around level 50 so it feels pretty pointless unless you can reach Disgaea levels of levels.

You know the point when you go deep enough underwater and you just lose control, get a short splashing cutscene and respawn? If you're successfully drifting at that time with sufficient speed (~50-60 mph seems to work the best) and all wheels on the ground, the game bugs out and lets you through. Works best on very shallow beaches, it's a bit hard to explain but I'll try to get a video. Watch this space.

I'm not 100% sure on the exact mechanics, but it seems to work best if you hit the water around 60 mph while drifting, do a switch a couple moments before you hit the respawn point and hold it until you get fully submerged. It's weird, stupid and fun, the beaches around Chicago are the easiest place to pull it off and you have a reasonable distance to a river with some fucking incredible terrain.

These don't belong in the game. It's not Burnout. The hot detection is garbage because it checks that your front or sides hit the car but theirs can slam into you and take no damage. You must restart until you know the car's path and can intercept it early and finish it off quickly.

At level 50 you unlock smart loot. The game advertises this as loot better than gold and says a level 40 piece gives +10 stats while a level 50 from smart loot gives +50. The problem is that when you complete missions and get a platinum you'll almost always get a bronze upgrade that's worse than the silver or gold upgrades you could've gotten. The game actually punishes you for doing well. In skill challenges I had to go back and force myself to get gold medals to upgrade my car because platinum kept giving me new paint/hood parts that don't do shit to my car's stats.

And at the end [Spoiler]you never kill Shiv because "you would be throwing away the rest of your life."[/Spoiler]

Eh, for all the issues with the game I never had problems with the AI racers. I tried out Highway Child, which takes around 50-60 minutes even with a batshit fast car, wiped out a few times so bad I dropped the lead and still ended up shitting all over the AI to the tune of finishing two minutes before the second place driver. The slipstreaming mechanic is fucking insane and might look like rubberbanding at first, but it's also available to you and once you drop the AI out of range you're set for the race, unless you're really bad at driving.

Best way to beat the AI is just waste time leveling up to 50. Once you unlock platinum medals you can just use the missions as a farming method.

Yeah I don't think the race AI is bad either. I was usually able to lose them and never see them again. In some missions one car shot up out of nowhere and passed me but then slowed down to let me pass him again. It can rubberband a bit but it's not as bad as the cop AI.

Man I want a open world arcade street racing game like this but set in Japan during the late 90's-mid 2000's and made by a competent dev that isn't ubisoft. Also a shoegaze soundtrack. That would be choice.

The best farming spot for street/perf/circuit rides is the speed skill in the south of Miami. Nobody else seems to ever go there, it's very easy despite the amount of traffic, finishes quickly and doles out parts like candy. For dirt and raid I'd recommend one of the racing line skills out there, just pick one that you find easy.

You should've checked for dirt spec before buying. You can still use a free fullstock starter car and dirt spec that. Earning money sucks ass in this game.

Protip: the Focus makes for a really damn good dirt ride and it's cheap too. Get that and the free Dodge Viper to curb your autism for the meantime, once it starts flaring up again you should be able to afford something nice.

I managed to do it with perf and circuit with different cars.

Yeah, it's poorly explained but that's how it works. And while I'm on the subject of badly documented things, there's a handling mode option hidden in the options menu and you should turn that to Hardcore. The default option is shitty and weird, getting used to the unassisted setting takes a few minutes but it's beyond worth it.

I only tried two multiplayer races. Lost the first because 2 cars were lagging and spazzing out on the road so I crashed into one. Won the second because everyone missed a tight turn after a long stretch of road and I was the first to reset my car. Neither race was fun.

Also I play with a G27, and everytime the game seems to load a new area as I drive into it, my wheel settings seem to change from 520 degrees to like 240, and the force feedback gets really heavy. Only way to fix it is to alt tab out and then back in. Anyone else?
