Yeah, no. Horizon 3 is looking to be one of the best racing games we've had in a long time. Forza has always been renown as being one of the best racing games period and now its on PC no one can fucking argue

Assetto Corsa is fantastic for what it is, but it's not in the same ballpark as the mainstream games with long career modes and massive car and track variety and at least some semblance of AI drivers.

Then again Gran Turismo's on-rails AI drivers are hardly any better than Assetto Corsa's barebones AI.

I just want the crack. The game is exclusive for Window Store and right now costs 70 fucking euros.

Assetto Corsa does a lot of weird shit with its cars. A lot of its physics are wonky as shit and some of the background behind the actual DLC made by the developers themselves are some spaghetti jew tier shit.

Also their community is absolutely shit. Anyone anywhere says anything bad about their game, the moderators will ban you the fuck up. I think Stefano (lead dev) said something about being "on a ban spree" after people had been criticizing the latest DLC for it.
If you want something you can just fuck around in, AC is "okay".

But for the rest it's shit.

GT6 - simcade to collect cars - good for neets
AC - GT6 1.5 with no cars but ok-ish driving
rFactor 2 - actual simulation - best fun you'll ever have if you put in the effort

special mention iRacing if you're a middle-aged sim racing dad who has too much time and money on their hands and insists that since its the most expensive one its the best

worth a try at least - if nothing else you'll learn the basics of racing by pure repetition - warning - lots of spics that will crash you out and do nothing else

Project CARS is pretty shit. If you want to pretend to be a race driver but aren't really good at racing games, I guess it's good for something. I mean the career mode is alright, I guess.
