Mostly every game from 2015

...

...

...

I remember it.

As a student of video game walk cycles you can trust me when I say that this is the best.

...

that's sad, awesome game :(

Yo, actually that walk cycle is pretty good

One of those games that are forgotten for good reason.

I remember

Man, that game had great visuals and a cool story, but man, at its best the gameplay was mediocre, and at its worst it was a boring glitchfest.

>fighting boss
>beat first stage
>pretty sure I've figured out how to beat second stage
>doesn't work
>try everything else
>nothing works
>restart game
>retry, my first attempt was correct, she just glitched out

>beat a different boss
>"GO HERE"
>go there, nothing happens
>restart, redo and now it works

The visual style was great, the story kinda interesting, the platform parts were average, but the combat was so fuckin awful holy shit.

i ask myself, how do people that call themselves gamers let something good die?
>lack of content

I forgot the game I was gonna post

I don't remember

He wasn't being sarcastic. That game was visually stunning.

I still remember it. Nilin's ass notwithstanding, it had a number of cool ideas that got a really mediocre execution. I kinda want a sequel that does memory remixing, the Pressen battle system, and Neo-Paris as a setting justice. There's some real potential in all that.

Also Mirror's Edge Catalyst, because everyone really forgot that one even came out.

>See this game on sale all the time
>always tempted to get it
I'm going to do it one of these days I swear.

remember me is only good for a laugh when you watch youtube.com/watch?v=KQDr5Bz9Tc4 after playing through it and some sfm porn of whats her face would be nice

Jesus christ is this ever the case with this game for me.

amazing soundtrack

>The mother blames Nillin for causing a car accident and making her lose an arm even though it was all her own fault for being a fucking retard and turning her full body around instead of paying attention to the road.
>Nillin had already shut up by then so even the shitty excuse that she was being disruptive doesn't work.

I wish.

It's never outright poor but man, it could've (and should've) been so much more than the final product was. If you've got $10 or so to burn, I'd say it's worth that much at most. Just expect wasted potential: the game.

Valve went full retard and expected the modding community to carry the slack of new content.

...

If you sewers with a lot of water reflection and lens flare

the game is like 80% sewer level

I'M SLOWLY DRIFTING TO

>Remember Me
The cruel irony...

I still really liked the visuals and ideas behind the memory rewriting sequences. Shame there were only a handful of them though. Felt like they had to spread development a bit thin.

Recore.

By the way, Recore came out. Could've fooled me.

...

The only thing I remember about this game is the ending, and then the title make sense

and the electrified crossbow is basically the only weapon you need

It's remembered as an SJW relic since it having a female protagonist got a publisher to pass on it.

That's the point. It was meant to be tragic, with the mother clearly in the wrong.

Pretty much what said. If you can get it for under $10 and you can tolerate an occasionally glitch, there are some things to be enjoyed. If not for the gameplay, then certainly for the top tier atmosphere.

This is what happens when you put more effort into marketing than the actual game...

I still had fun with it though...

Shame it turned out to be the same health-regenerating, weapon limiting spunkgargleweewee that its marketing made fun of.

Worked for Doom.

...

Just Cause 3

>It was meant to be tragic
Instead it was just retarded.

>I didn't finish the game

Here's your (you)

>unironically quoting yahtzee

Please fucking kill yourself my dude

More people remember the angry tweets than the game.

DOOM was 30 levels, plenty of content, the fact that mod support has allowed for limitless new things to RIP AND TEAR for decades is just a bonus

that game seemed to have a cool concept and plot twist

You got a better term for the monstrosity that is modern first person shooter design?

yeah all the cool weapons...and you could only carry like...4 if I remember...

So, when's your next government autism check due?

Not being a cringey faggot and just saying "funny how it ended up being the same genre it was attempting to parody"

>my dude

Don't forget its music... holy shit the music is great
youtube.com/watch?v=woT-vF1e3-M

And guess what... the devs actually have a sequel already written and gameplay mechanics planned out. They've just been waiting for the okay from Capcom to greenlight it. And since it's Capcom it's basically guaranteed to never happen!

Yahtzee numale covering his tracks

>Yahtzee
>numale

This is what kills me. I want a sequel that does everything this game wanted to do right and they actually want to make it. But Capcom, mang.

>Spent his entire video review of Blacks Ops 2 being triggered about the fact you kill people who aren't white

Ok. Haven't watched him since. Should you go be posting about "based uncle dante, yo!" in some other faggot thread?

>Dragon's Dogma 2 and Remember Me 2

Capcom please...

...

i once found R34 for this game

youtube.com/watch?v=Wm5hvBAxfaQ

Check out how different Remember me was in its early development.

...

>wanting sequels to shit games instead of actual good franchises
And Dragon's Dogma was so fucking grindy that the MMO might as well be DD 2, they even fixed Warrior being a garbage class.

That was pretty retarded.
Hell, even inside her office just before you remix her memory she has pieces of her car as art pieces. She seemed to have been born a bitch from the goddamn get go.
t. WORST MOM

I actually tried playing that game.

Went all two handed sword in it with optionally stealth. Boy I got my shit kicked in almost every time, and as time went on the encounters with harder enemies were close to absolute bullshit or required more rolling than anything else.

Which character?

...

>Nillin brain washes a young woman into thinking that her husband is dead, and that she should attack the corporation that's maintaining her life support
>the morality of the decision is never called into question

I don't even remember the title myself. That hipster game where you could "grind" on rails.

It's like Assassin's Creed: Cyberpunk 2077

...

...

I liked DD because it had fantastic combat for WRPG-like. Pretty generic otherwise but fighting things was fun as fuck in it.

It was actually fun too desu

>Hasn't watched his Let's Drown Out videos where he tears the fuck into SJWs

This game is still remembered. It's ridiculed nearly nonstop.

I don't think Fallout fans have forgotten.
I don't think they will ever forget.

Wasn't it more a stab at how he's tired of the games that repetitively romanticize war through America annihilating a group of faceless underdogs?

>Drown Out is done forever

the one who give you the boomerangs

I've always thought this was quickly forgotten because it's never been cracked

I hate this shit. The complex morality of war can't be boiled down to "this country has bigger guns so they're evil!" which is what Yahtzee focuses on any time he talks about an FPS. Not even pro-war, but the fact that insurgent groups are made up of goat herders and wheat farmers doesn't make them the "good guys"

...

I Love Memes!

Oops Forgot a Meme

You forgot (you)

The corporation was doing shady things with his brain and was using him as a hostage to get the young woman to assassinate Nilin. I'm not saying Nilin's in the right, but it was the pragmatic choice.

The game had plenty of nice stuff going for it but the gameplay was just mediocre at best. Most annoying of all was how your combos would reset after you defeated an enemy so the pacing was really awkward in nearly every fight since there were always multiple enemies.

Nah, it's because they released it right before E3. Murderded: Soul Suspect also made that mistake.

It will be remembered. Just like no one will forget DNF or CM.

That is why I dont see a bright future for Gearbox unless they somehow manage to pull off an amazong stunt with a 10/10 BL3

Combat in this game was fucking awful. That pressen shit totally killed the pace. It would benefit more if it had a real time combat instead of this semi-turn-based.

Sunset Overdrive?
