Is this game still up and running?
It's been some time and I've thought of downloading the game once again and play the vast variety of mods it offers.
Or should I just install Starcraft 2 and play the same mods on the arcade?
I know that it's newer engine and everything is pretty much enhanced from the old, but Warcraft 3 has this much more robust feel to it, the UI is better and it has the nostalgic charm to it, also better music.

Starcraft 2 has one of the worst fucking map creators alive. Arcade is total shit.
WC3 mods are infinitely better than whatever bullshit passes as top-tier SC2 Arcade garbage
Starcraft custom game/arcade is pretty bad. At least you can play it on the free version.
I like starcraft for 1v1 and team games with friends. Coop missions aren't bad either. But WC3 undoubtedly has better custom maps.
