HD598 is fine. 3.5GB is retarded. Core i7 for gaymes lul. Vaperwave is trash. Never heard of it. Never going to look into this.

It's throwing away money. An i7 is way above the highest possible requirement of any current game- the few that need an i7 are a result of horrendously bad optimisation, not realistic requirements. A 4690k will sort you out for 4-5 years before you need to upgrade. Feel free to get an i7 but you're wasting money.

GTX 970 is now outdated, but it was a good card at release despite memes. The problem with it was so severe that it took people over 3 months to even find out about it
Games have actually started utilizing hyperthreading now, so i7 is no longer a meme choice. However, the benefits generally aren't large enough to justify the price difference

Or y'know, it's just actually good. I admit I'm not really big on anime or manga, Berserk is the exception. Many people are like me, this exception exists because of the theme of Berserk. It's Dark Fantasy, done with a medieval European theme, which is uncommon. While it contains absurdly large weapons, big and strong men wield them, rather than the typical animu 5'4 100 lb stringbean with a 17 foot long sword.

I've been on Cred Forums since 2007, I'm 27. I only mention this, because over almost a decade now, I have taken recommendations for anime and manga from many boards. It's not that they're bad, it's me, I just clearly don't enjoy it. Berserk is the exception, I actually really like the manga and that 1997 anime.

Just have to accept the fact that sometimes really popular things, especially ones that have been running for a while, are popular because they're likely good.

I'd like to think that too, but I don't think Miura has it in him anymore. I don't think Berserk will ever be good again, even if Miura takes it seriously. I'm pretty sure it's been too long and all of his passion and creative juices are drained.
