Fuck you I liked it

Fuck you I liked it.

Fuck you I didn't like it

Fuck me nobody should like it

It's okay, some people have scat fetish.

I regret playing it.

(You)

It was pretty good. 6.5/10 its just the hivemind that convinces people its really shit

>Inb4 same copy pasted responses as always

What a disappointment

We will fuck, have fucked, and have yet to fuck, as this is game is liked, isn't liked, and will and wont be liked

Nah, fuck you OP.

>its another Elizabeth lewd thread in disguise

>10/10 art and intro
>0/10 everything else

But how?

>Pushup

Great fucking combat system.

I played it on my own without any outside influence and I can say without hyperbole it is the single worst game I have ever played.

And I've played some shit NES games while doing vidya gauntlets. Infinite found a way to transcend merely being crap with bad gameplay that was a step back in every way. It reaches new levels of suck.
I hate it and I will always hate it.

>dumbs down combat
>misleading trailers
>"choices" do fuck all
>lacks meaningful philosophy
>WAIT A MINUTE THAT CARD
No it deserves every bit of hate, Elizabeth was waifu material at least

>faggot

The fuck are you even complaining about? Elizabeth wore a dress that squeezed her breasts tight and high.

Post lewd Elizabeth.

Replaying through BS2 recently has even further driven home how shit this game was. And I'm finding my opinion of BS2 to be pretty low after having replayed it.

None of the Bioshocks are really stellar but 2 is likely the best.

Woman detected

My biggest problem is the Hard difficulty blows, just ups enemy health/damage without removing resources so it is in fact not hard at all since you're swimming in EVE hypos and medkits as much as you are on any other difficulty

also the camera is gay, SS2 did research better

At least the camera in 2 was rejigged so that you only use it once per enemy, making it seem a bit more bearable.
1 is just busywork where you spam the shit out of it until you can't get research scores, and you are incredibly glad when you no longer have to switch to the camera against certain enemy types.

SS2 research would be nice if it didn't take investment. As it is, it isn't worth it at all unless you want to use the shard.

I will never understand this sentiment on Cred Forums. 2 was definitely a bit better than 1 in gameplay, but what made 1 so good, was solid gameplay, mixed with great atmosphere and story(Except the last stretch of it, dear god the story turned shit), and 2 had an awful, forced sequel story, and much worse atmosphere.

I'd give it a 5, maybe 4.5

Even if it weren't the best game, it has the best characters.

>story(Except the last stretch of it, dear god the story turned shit)

It wasn't the last stretch, it was the entire second half of the game.
And I think the gameplay in 2 was more than just a it better.

>be genetic monstrosity sealed inside a suit so dense it can withstand the pressure of the ocean
>splicer with a cheap pistol shoots me once for half my HP

It should have been less items in the environment, higher prices at vendors, less ADAM and higher ADAM costs. That way you'd actually feel pressed, you'd feel the need to save certain ammo types, and you wouldn't be able to just buy all of the best plasmids and all of their upgrades, you'd have to specialize. But, ehh, that would be a lot of work compared to just making the enemies do more damage.

Now that is an obvious shitpost!

It is a good movie, not a good game.

I do like that 2 allows you to specialize by having there be a limited amount of weapon upgrades and having all gene tonics go in one group, so you could pick certain areas to be stronger in compared to the first one.

fuck off and die

Through the confrontation with Ryan, it was great, and that was about the 3/4 point. After that, it took a sharp-ass nosedive.

I also liked it. Could only play it in burst of about an hour, though.

Also own item pictured.

Not fucking even.

The game is very unpolished, but the story and setting had a lot of potential, and the combat was great. If it had been more open and given you a bit more freedom it would have been really good.

I loved it. I still fail to see how it's a Cred Forums thing.

WAIT A MINUTE

such qt

>Combat was great
>Game fucking plays itself

>6.5/10
>pretty good

That's true the stat investment is pretty harsh especially in a game with a lot of trap options, still I prefer being able to just grab the organ and "fire and forget" the research

The atmosphere is alright I think but there is definitely an inescapable sense that you're just playing a Bioshock expansion pack rather than a sequel, but not even a first party sequel, like something they contracted out so the plot ties are rather thin. maybe it's all the reused assets.

But you are wrong about the story. 1 had a fine twist, but that's it, 2 had a better story in every other way, and comes out on top.

Plus, 2 had a much more consistent atmosphere instead of failing to try to be a horror game at first and turning into a atmosphere-less romp.

I came here to tell you that you are a bad gamer and a dummy for liking any FPS beside Half Life

It was mediocre but had enjoyable moments, definitely the worst of the series.
6/10 for me, didn't even felt like replaying it on hard mode like in bioshock 1 and 2.

For as much people like to rag on the 'AUTO' part of the combat, I can understand what it is they were trying to do.
In a lot of these games once you discover the weakness of any enemy you kind of go on auto-pilot anyway, using only certain attacks and buffing/debuffing/healing as required. They took away that layer of what is mostly unneccesary micromanagement to have a system where instead you tried to control the flow of a battle.
Too bad almost everything else outside the combat is shit.

they had good jokes, but that's it.

no, the Ryan moment was good, and there wasn't a couple nice moments early on before hand. but even before the confrontation, it wasn't particularly good.

>game starts off having me kill a bunch of Cred Forumstards in the sky
>hellyeah.jpg

>then I have to go off and kill the Sky Socialists
>okay.jpg

>then time travel and dimensional travel which makes all the previous political killing irrelevant in comparison

It started off well but went full retard in a hurry. Wasted potential.

Lift the skirt

Ryan was no more than about 1/2 through the game.
Maybe the badness of the second half made it feel longer, but it certainly wasn't just 1/4th.

I see you saved my picture but whats the point of linking with bait

Yeah, but at the same time they give you so many slots for gene tonics that it's very easy to pare it down to just the useful ones. For a Hard difficulty I would have preferred, "You get enough Adam to max out maybe 2 plasmids, and buy about 10 gene tonics"

>there is definitely an inescapable sense that you're just playing a Bioshock expansion pack rather than a sequel
That's my biggest problem really. Maybe it's just partial nostalgia, but I just felt like it was a shitty cash-grab that they did for the sake of making money, and not because they actually had more ideas to use, or a new story to tell. Also, "You're a Big Daddy!" just reeks of corporate suits trying to come up with a selling point, and missing the point of things entirely.

Not at all. If you see it as a regular turn based RPG it's shit, but the point of the game is more about the strategy, and changing paradigms at the precise moment, knowing how each worked and building your strategies outside the fight. The auto-battle option is there because if it weren't the game would be ridiculously hard.

The term is Cred Forumslack. Come on Cred Forumsirgin, get your insulting nicknames right.
Or are you not a real Cred Forumsirgin?

I think about her a lot

I eat McDonalds burgers but the're not as good as Five Guys. I still eat and enjoy both however.

You really have to get like 8 hours into the game where you can choose your party, at least. This is not an excuse for the game: that's a terrible decision. Even worse is that it takes 2 hours before you even get Paradigms in the first place. I don't really give a shit about 20 hours in when it suddenly becomes "open world" in the most boring way possible, I honestly would have just preferred it stay linear throughout if it was going to start that way.

It was fun, which is the least you can expect for a video game

I purposefully refused to throw the ball in Infinite and it did get me a different outcome, I missed out on a piece of gear later.

It was, actually. I was surprised too, but I just replayed it(Finished today), and once you kill Ryan, there's only about two hours left in the game, and that's if you bother with the couple remaining sidequests.

Mass Effect 3 is probably my ultimate "Fuck you I liked it" game.

It's Cred Forumstard

Because they are all retarded

Remember that time that the culmination of the story of Time Lord Elizabeth is just her bleeding out in some god-forsaken Rapture gutter?

Some people like playing with shit also.

What's there not to like about the Luteces?

Good Jokes? Yes, they had great banter. They are also the two characters I relate the most to in the series, and who I think have the best character arc.

You mean take her out of the package, but the VALUE of 'Muh Collectibles'!!

Just kidding, only a fucking moron keeps his toys in the package.

>Just for you, I have literally walked across my living room, picked up elizabeth and can confirm she is wearing plastic bloomers.

No user, it's Cred Forumstard. Please lurk more.

Everyone on Cred Forums is retarded, especially you.

>use my approved vocabulary! lurk more lol!

ur gay bro

Pic?

>if vigors are just plasmids where does the Adam come from? Where are the detrimental side effects? Where is the Adam? (Seriously Bioshock outlined that drinking plasmids required something like 100x more Adam than injection.)
>Why Ken go back and rewrite the leader of the Vox populi so that she murdered a little kid because she had to? Was it a racial thing?
>Why did were the Plasmids in Rapture exactly the same as they were in Columbia? Where was Incinerate!? Harsh Winter? Electro Bolt? Why did they just treat them like Vigors? Why did they act like old man winter was new when it was obviously just harsh winter?

I could go on all fucking day.

Global rule 6.

>My opinion here< I'm not a robot

No, fuck you I liked it

Basically any popular and well received AAA game from the past decade

I kinda liked it too but I completed it in 6 hours on my first try.

bioshock infinite haters are probably the most autistic cancer this board has

>Ken Levine is a hack

Yeah it felt really short.

Remember that time that Elizabeth despite having Time Lord powers got killed by a Big Daddy, a creature that Subject Delta and Jack both killed dozens of? And then she Time Lord teleported to Rapture and lost her Time Lord powers, because going to a universe (timeline?) where you died makes you lose your powers. No reason, that's apparently just the rule of how it works? Oh, and the Letueces knew this, somehow?

>not people who cry shill constantly at any game discussion

Go away Ken, your game is shit.

I feel like the only person that hates half life 1 and 2.

Cred Forums is really overboard with the hate for this, and I'll never understand why. It's not even that great, it's a 6/10, maybe 7/10 at best, if you really liked the sky hook gimmick, and the story turns to shit at the end(As is Bioshock tradition), but up until then, it's just a pretty average shooter, with some fun enemies and gimmicks.

Go away Ken, your game is shit.

It is a huge step backward in every single way mechanically. The setting falls apart if you look at it even the slightest bit funny and the writing and story is downright insulting.

Reminder that Ken Levine was a lead designer at Looking Glass. He'll never be a hack no matter what you fat neckbeards believe.

Go away Ken, your game is shit.

...

Except he had little impact on the actual good games and the one game he did have complete control over at 2k turned out to be so bad it killed the studio division and got everyone fired.

I actually like the final 3 areas of bioshock 1

...

The only good one is the one where you become a Big Daddy.

Actually protecting the Lil' sis was crap though.

I liked it too, but only just.

The early gameplay had me stoked, it looked like the most amazing game.

Everything in the final game was so underwhelming though. The vigors were arse, the gun fights were overused and the sky rail was a big let down, confined to s small area and nothing more.

I liked the world and aesthetics though. The game had so much potential and turned out average. It's the worst of the three Bioshock games.

T. some faggot who knows nothing about game design.

How do you get that much play time out of the game?

That's not true, I'm not Ken Levine.

>lead designer at looking glass
>little impact on anything

Whatever fag.

you just have shit taste.

unless you hate all FPS, then you still have shit taste

Read up on it, he actually didn't have much to do with the good parts of the good games.

There are many game elements that are just not polished and/or broken that just make the game not fun to play, but it does have great parts that come through now and again

better than bioshock 2 i kinda wish system shock 2 was mentioned in the whole multiverse thing

that would've been really awesome

Oh, I liked it too.

A LOT.

Hhhnnnggg!

I think I would have enjoyed the game a great deal more if Elizabeth was ever actually in danger, especially if I could shoot and kill her myself.

Not trying to be edgy, but I bet I wouldn't have minded some of it so much if I could blow off steam by blowing her head off with a shotgun a few times whenever she did something really, really stupid or annoying like threaten me with a Tornado.

No ability to get Catharsis ever from the really bad things in the game takes me out of the experience and makes those little annoyances build up inside.

God no, keep that stupid time lord bullshit away from actual good games.

Came out when Cred Forums was gaining traction, discussed racial issues. That's literally the only reasons why it's shat on here.

Good lord. Do you have any more?

Did Ken Levine rape your mother or what?

I want to believe that you are serious and just a retard, since ironically I don't like to attribute motives to other people in the same way you are doing.

But you're so god damn wrong it feels like shitposting.

Incorrect.

Try again.

Can't rape the willing.

Liz is Cute!

>Try again.

No. I'm never fucking playing that game again and you can't make me.

If you don't throw the ball at anyone you still get caught, but later on you don't get a piece of gear as a gift. If you throw it at the couple you get it from the tophat guy, if you throw it at the tophat guy you get it from the couple. But if you purposefully don't throw it, you don't get that piece of gear.
It's randomized anyway though for what gear it is, another stupid and bad design decision.

There's not much that is Cred Forums friendly, comrade.

what you wouldn't think it would be kind of cool to get a look at a high quality von braun or something like that ?

>They turn psi powers into the same fucking vigors from infinite like in Bioshock

Fuck no.

Define Cred Forums friendly. Also, source?

...

actual real autism

test

>1928 hours

i liked the game too but jesus dude play something else

>Eat shit, millions of flies can't be wrong

stay butthurt shitter

Hello redit

Why? Not like I payed for the game, although free was still too much.

In the end, the real victims are those poor employees that had to deal with Ken's lack of vision, constant design changes, final last minute rush to put something, anything together and then were promptly fired when the game failed to sell well enough.

>Without hyperbole
>continues to post a load of hyperbole

kys my man. Infinite wasn't good, but if it was the worst game you've ever played, you haven't played many video games. There is shit out there that is legit unplayable.

if it was actually bad people would have noticed.

It's bad halo with a shit story, now go away.

>although free was still too much

Alas, your precious time, forever wasted.

It sold 11 million copies.

Irrational shut down because they didn't want to make Bioshock anymore and 2K Marin exists to make Bioshock 4.

Nope, that was all literally without hyperbole.

It transcends merely being bad. I'd rather play ET for the Atari or Pac-man for the Atari again then be forced to play Bioshock Infinite and have it get so many things wrong and bitch at me constantly all the while.

If it was like Halo, Booker DeWitt would have been called 'Detective Man'
And the last 3 quarters of the game would just have been the same level, over and over.

6.5 seems accurate

The story was just SO BAD. I can't believe people praise it as one of the game's strong points. So many nonsensical plot points and dumb shit. Crazy.

This right here.

I didn't expect much going in, since I hadn't played a new AC game in 3 years and everyone on Cred Forums shit all over it, but I picked it up for $7 and once I started I couldn't put it down until I 100% the game.
Don't see where all the hate comes from.

>you have nothing better to do than start bait threads

>Irrational shut down because they didn't want to make Bioshock anymore

No, it shut down because it was a financial flop due to how massively overmarketed it was and other such wastes.

Do you really not remember how all the developers were fired, without them being told in advance about it?

Well then, my bad. Turns out I thought you were being hyperbolic when you were simply being retarded.

Go away Ken, your game is shit.

>Irrational shut down because they didn't want to make Bioshock anymore

That is not how companies work user. Infinite couldn't make enough money to justify a +5 year development period. That's why 2K shut down the company.

The story and writing is the reason why it may be the worst game ever.

The only retarded thing I did was think the game had any chance of being good.

If I could go back in time and stop myself from playing it, I could.

>If I could, I could
Wow, good one retard.

>shit story that doesn't make sense and wont even follow its own rules.

>we want the cowa dooty audience so 2 weapon limit

>Vigors felt lacklusters and a lot of them felt the same

>No explanation whatsoever for vigors.

You have shit taste m8

Really though, worst game ever.

Really?, picking up on a fellows grammer?
That's the kind of thing that I associate with dumb-fucks who are out of counter arguements.

Damn man, did Infinite kill your family and rape your dog?

>discussed racial issues
>discussed

They forget about all the "race issues" after the 40 mins into the game so I don't count that as discussing

hey reddit

>wanting choices in a bioshock game

jesus fuck

Yeah it's pretty standard AssCreed schlock as far as I played it. The animations were cool. Hate seems misdirected.

in the bioshock universe how does no government notice a massive flying city that would cause gigantic shadows over everything below, or an underwater city that would show up on any sonar?

The government financed the city in Infinite, they then declared independence.

What's really inexplicable is lizard attacking 1980's new york with zepplins for some (no doubt stupid) reason.

reminder that chris avellone liked bioshock infinite. manchildren absolutely BTFO.

Every AC game has pretty great gameplay, it's the story and "real world" parts that always lower the score for me. Still an easy purchase for me though (a year after it's released, for $10 or less).

...

There was no argument to begin with. All he said was "MAN THIS GAME WAS SO BAD, LIKE MAN IT WAS JUST REAL BAD LIKE THE WORST SO BAD."
Could name 10 games worse than it.
To save you the obligatory "GO AHEAD DO IT FGT" post, I will.

>Superman 64
>ET
>Crazy Bus
>Daikatana
>The Old Republic
>Bad Rats
>World Basketball Tycoon (legitimately the worst game I've ever played, half of the buttons didn't work)
>Big Rigs
>Gone Home
>SWTOR

Avellone is a hack and you realize that once you've played a couple of his games. Lonesome road was just unforgivably bad, the culmination of the jerking off he got into with KoTR2.

>lizard attacking 1980's new york with zepplins

I don't remember the zeppelins being commanded by lizards.

It's not that people want choices, it's that choices that don't change anything are annoying. I'd rather have a game that is a straight fucking line where I have no control over what happens than a game that pretends I can control what happens.

I've played most of those and I'd happily play them again over Infinite. It is that bad.

Also, Gone Home isn't a game and thus doesn't count.

Then I don't know what to say to you. You're mentally challenged.

Connor is easily the hardest main character in an AC game to date. You could easily forsake all the stealth and just massacre every single enemy in your way, and it was honestly pretty fun playing that way.

It also come in at #1 Best Native American Savage Simulator.

HAHAHAHA stay butthurt cuck

The choices having no meaning is a design decision so they can bitch at you more. Really.

I don't mind them having no meaning as a design decision but the game tries to be smug about you having no control. At that point I remind it I do have a choice, and turn the game off and delete it.

That's the part of the game I enjoyed the most, the part where I stopped playing.

I was at absolute peace with the universe when I deleted it from my computer.
>mfw

I'll take an earnestly mechanically bad game over a game that is mechanically bad, but furthermore mechanically a step back in every way over previous games while at the same time actively and purposefully insulting you incompetently.

Like I said many times, it found a way to transcend typical bad mechanics to become something less.

>swtor twice
Come on, at least try.

>It's a "Cred Forums exaggerates how bad a game is" episode

The story was dumb, and the gameplay was dumbed down from previous iterations, but you really can't say that it's the worst game of all time without looking like a uninformed idiot.

Oops.

>South Park N64

there.

Go away Ken, your game is shit.

You spewed out a bunch of garbage to basically say "because this game was worse than bioshock 1 and 2, it is the worst game of all time".
Like what does "Actively and purposefully insulting you incompetently" even mean?

Go away Ken, your game is shit.

>6.5/10, it was pretty good

IGN please leave.

HAHA MAKE ME FAGGOTS REEEEEEEEE

I liked it to man v is full of whiney Homos

Aliens v Predator 2010

Not great, not bad

Played all 3 recently. 2 is easily the worst

The combat system was one of the best in the series.
The music was amazing.
The story had it's moments (FF8's story was more bullshit than this yet it gets a free pass)
The cast had 1 likeable character (Sazh)
And the visuals were great for 2010 and still hold up today.
That's all I need to like an FF game. Every FF game is linear to an extent until endgame. XIII just made it more blatant.

Mechanically, the game is bad. Lots of games are mechanically bad but when you had some good games previously and you end up worse in every way that makes it really, really bad. The game could have changed nothing as far as gameplay and been better. That magnifies the suck factor right there. When you could have done nothing and been better than what you did do, you need to reexamine your game.

As for the insulting bits, the entire game is insulting. The game tries to be one of those annoying smug, meta games similar to Spec Ops the Line and that sort. Not my favorite kind of game to begin with since they often forget gameplay when they do it but it can be good. But Bioshock Infinite fails even at that. Everything it tries to hold over you or be intelligent about falls completely flat. Quantum physics aren't magic. Pointing out how choices didn't matter in previous bioshocks doesn't make you insightful when you force our face into it 100 times.

The game tries to insult you, but it ends up insulting you for the wrong reasons. It tries to "really make you think" but if you think about it at all it falls completely apart.

Anyway, it is late and I'm tried so I will depart as I have work in the morning. Fairwell user.

I disagree.

You're wrong

That's ok, you can enjoy eating raw sewage, doesn't mean it's good.

>I disagree
>You're wrong

No user, I really do disagree.

Quantum-Ghost-Necromancer-Mom

One of the worst sequences in a "AAA" game I've ever suffered

You mean doing it 3 times in a row didn't make it better?

Everything about the whole sequence is just fucking nonsense, from both gameplay and narrative purposes

And fighting the same fucking identical boss three times back to back is the opposite of fun, even if you cheese the fuck out of her

The only thing I can say I hated was no giant sword weapon and Troy Baker replacing the old VA. It's not as good as the previous ones but a good game regardless.

Go away Ken, your game is shit.

I don't get Bioshock fans. Someone doesn't like you're game. Who gives a fuck. You won't change their mind by acting like a snarky faggot.

Also elizabeth is probably the most hateable cunt in vidya

>murders songbird
>murders YOU
>murders tucking everybody
>"b-but it was for the greater good"

She got what she deserved

Also Infinite was shit and both expansions were severely underwhelming

Listen man I'd give that game a solid 7.5. Play on hard, ultra settings. It's good.

YER DUN 4 M8

>I can say without hyperbole it is the single worst game I have ever played.
>without hyperbole

I love that you can tell how pathetic people are by just one sentence.

so how was the leather and copper clad bird man invulnerable again?

besides the writers saying so

The only issue I had with this game is that it doesn't have the same type of gameplay as the other 2 Bioshock games. It aims at being a more generic shooter instead of the RPG hyrbid shooter I've come to expect from the series.

It's because Ken Levine is jewish

Great game, 9.0 - 9.5/10 at least.

Go away Ken, your game is shit.

I love it. It's the spookiest of the TS games

expected: 8.5/10
got: 3/10, being generous

Probably I'm the only one here who actually enjoyed this game despite having a frustrating ending.

Go away Ken, your game is shit.

no regrets

great variety of cars and bikes, drifting felt smooth as butter, great tracks, good roster, couch MP was fun as fuck, battle mode was good, and the trick system was a good addition to the series

fight me

this game has threads all the time, i'm sure at least 5% of them aren't /u/ crossboarders

total ass, a major step down from DS

I dont think so at all
