I can't stand Birthday Cake. What qualities do you see in this song that could possibly redeem it?
The JSRF soundtrack would literally be better if it was the same minus that song.

It's a loud, punk-ish, and weirdly catchy headbanger with hilarious lyrics. I think people dislike it because it's loud and so it throws people off. They hear the first few seconds of some Japanese girl saying something intelligible and they think BAD SONG but it's actually the best song in the JSRF soundtrack (maybe second to Hello Allison).

That first link I actually like. It could have used a bit of tuning especially at the segments like :45 to 1:05 that was just a garbled mess but other than that I like this. I actually wish I could hear this remade into a more melodic tune.

I remember playing Sonic Soon all. The whole game sounds like the intro for some reason. Though I didn't really mind it back then I guess.

It has annoying as shit, loud chime noises which is unforgivable for a hub theme and straight headache-inducing.

You should turn down your volume. It was always quiet for me. Which is how it should be as a calm background music for a calm safe area. There was nothing annoying about it unless you just generally get triggered by chimes.
