>being danish
I offer you my greatest condolences op

You're welcome

Nice system, but I prefer mine

...

so this is what true autism looks like

Maybe

Keeping a list of games you want to play is now considered autism? Oh sweet summer child.

The real autism is keeping a record of all the games you play

Cool system
The titles on it are shit though

Autists

I did it in a rush last night because I was getting desperate trying to keep track of my games
Having too many games is suffering

Yeah, I usually just play whatever I feel like playing, instead of being an autist who treats games as a chore and needs to make a list to figure out what he wants to play.

Just end you fucking life you Danish faggot.

Post it faggot

Still better than being a shitposting weaboo

>Metroid Fusion
>Dead Rising 1 pc after ages without playing the x360 version
>SMT IV Apocalypse
>random shmups from time to time

How does keeping a list exclude you from playing what you feel like playing?

I like having a reminder on the shit I want to play in the future. It's not like I have some ironclad system in place that decides what I'm playing next.

It was smaller than I remember, but it would be a pain to screenshot the whole list.

>He doesn't have over a terabyte of games
Gotta keep track somehow

...

It's called not being dumb. If you forget games so easily then they obviously weren't worth your time anyways. Most of you list autists like keeping a checklist to prove how "hardcore" you are when in reality it just looks fucking dumb. Play games because you want to, not because you have fill out your excel spreadsheet.

Need to finish filling this in fully.

Excel spreadsheets are fun though.
You sound like a tool.

I actually have fun doing these lists, it's pretty soothing, I don't think any human being can keep track of 500 games.
I want to play videogames, that's why I make a spreadsheet.

Why are you even posting in this thread? (You) withdrawal? Gotta keep that shitpost quota!

I don't keep a list but from the top of my head
>SMT IV
>SMT Strange Journey
>Resident Evil Revelations
>Etrian Odyssey IV
>Etrian Odyssey Untold 1

Holy shit, you really love RPGs.

Both of you just proved my point. There's nothing wrong with liking spreadsheets, but don't lie to people and say it's because you want to keep track of your video games when you simply enjoy the prospect of ticking checklists and making spreadsheets.

Don't you have a backloggery account are something? It is pretty neat.

It's the best genre.

I don't, no. Does it serve as anything other than a list?

What about people who keep track of games that they have beaten?

I'm not really sure I understand your "point".
There's a lot of stuff I want to play and when I come across a title that interests me I note it down.

So far it's been pretty useful, as well as fun.
I don't really get why you're so offended by a simple list.

1. I like making them
2. They're useful

Spreadsheets have more than one purpose

Not that guy but I do keep a list of what I fnished, so when I look at it I remember, otherwise I cant name all the games I finished, althought this year, in 10 months I only finished 8 games, 2 of them in 1 day.

Aren't RPGs the only real genre worth playing these days?

>Scoring titles on a 1-10 scale
Get a load of this guy

should I use a 100? I dont do it for anyone else but me, nor I do it for all the titles, is just a reminder, my memory is quite faulty.

Pretty much the opposite. RPGs usually have a shallow gameplay and a richer narrative that still don't hold up versus actual books. (unless the RPG has a pretty good tactical gameplay depth which is the minority).

And if you are going to play RPGs for the tactical depth, go play classic roguelikes are some dungeon crawlers.

I think you're just mad because we love videogames more than you

spreadsheets are for casuals who can't into sql

A 1 - 4 scale is a all you need.
>1 = below standard, not worth replaying
>2 = average or rough game, might be worth playing again
>3 = great game, worth reccomending
>4 = personal favorite, everyone should play this

Nothing falls in-between those categories.

In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.
RPGs are still the best.

And classic roguelikes and the sort are still RPGs

>he spends more time organizing his backlog than playing games

I use 1 - 5 scale but you are right. Those games that are worth a 1 or a 2 deserve to be on the same category i.e bad games.

backloggery.com/selloutwithme

Backloggery is made for this sort of thing, although I appreciate a good spreadsheet as well.

It's not autistic to keep track of what you have. I didn't grow up with a lot of money. I like to make sure I'm enjoying what I already own before I buy a new game.

I wish.

my autism got the better of me

I'm sure there's at least 100+ games I'm forgetting but whatever

>And classic roguelikes and the sort are still RPGs

I didn't say otherwise. They just have a far better gameplay than their more story rich and shallower gameplay bretheren.

I actually like this scale, it seems more useful on a personal level.
Thanks user.

That looks like a nifty site, user. Thanks for putting that there, I'll check it out.

>phoenix wright
>consol: gb

I was having a bit of trouble with deciding if I should go with the console of the original release or what I played it on.
I decided on the latter, so thanks for catching that user.

Do any of you guys ever leave your house? Who the hell has time to play games as a full time job?

myvideogamelist.com/mylist/battlechili1

People who don't go to school or have a job have all the time in the world to play video games.

The state pays me for taking an education, so I don't need a job.

Average gamer's age has been around 30 for years user, fucking newfags.

I'm at uni literally 8 hours a day, have to do school work and study, and STILL have time to finish all the games I start within a reasonable time period.
Sounds like you are shit at time management.

Do you ever run analysis on your games?

My current backlog is:
>get gud at Street Fighter 3: Third Strike
>get gud at Quake Live
>get gud at Aurora
>get gud at Magic Duels
>Ascending ADOM with a Ultra Ending

But I'm a normie. I like going out on weekends, getting drunk and having sex. This cuts into my game time.

If I ever did something like that, I'd give up on playing games forever.

Why?

Not him. I'd guess it'd have something to do with him thinking it'd ruin playing games for him.

I do something far, far worse.

1. Go to GameFAQS and click search.
2. Under advanced settings, I check "sort by popularity" and pick up the console.
3. The most popular 50 games are then shown. I pick up the first game on the list and grab what I consider the absolute best version of it. If the game has a remake, that's the best option by default. If the game has multiple versions, I pick up the version that thas the most content. If the game has no version that has additional content but it's part of a collection, I pick up the collection.
4. I beat the afforementioned game, and upload the save to Dropbox.
5. I follow with the next game, which it musn't be part of the same series of the previous game, until I beat 5 games of said console. Then I go back and 100% them under my own terms (all gameplay, be missions or bosses or levels, completed. NO achievements or tedious shit) and reupload the save in my dropbox.
6. Afterwards, I shift my attention to the next console in the list. I cicle consoles in the following order:

NES
SNES
GB
GENESIS
N64
GBC
SATURN
PS1
GCN
GBA
DREAMCAST
PS2
XBOX
WII
DS
PS3
PSP
XBOX360

for retro consoles and

WII U
3DS
PS4
VITA
XBONE
PC
ANDROID
IOS

for modern consoles. I only play one game of each category at a time.

you could be playing videogames instead of wasting your time on an italian wine tasting foro.

Here are the games I have beaten so far, since the beginning of the year.

NES
Zelda - Collector's Edition (GCN) [Zelda 1]
Super Mario Advance 4: SMB3 (GBA) [SMB3]

help me Cred Forums, help me! I don't want to do this autistic shit anymore, but there are so fucking many games I don't know whcih one to play. Sometimes I just want to scream, it's too damn much, and I won't be finishing those 50 games per console in my lifetime. I hate myself. I hate myself so much. help

imagine how much more gaming you could have done if you didnt spend nay of your time making that goddamn spreadsheet

Making spreadsheets really doesn't take that long though, amigo.

>spending your time making that goddamn spreadsheet
It's like writing a grocery list
Surely that doesn't take you a lot of time?

>he doesn't know how to use a spreadsheet

...

>Virtue's Last Request
fuck obviously i meant Virtue's Last Reward
