There's no disputing that, but the wording is about as stupid as it gets. Dark black? Hardcore gamer feel? Any serious hardcore gamer is likely to have a minimalist as fuck skin or just the default skin, as chances are they're not going to have Steam up on display at all times.

They only recently updated the Android app to look like the new UI they've had for years, so I'm expecting it to be a few more till we get the latest UI for mobile.

the chat window only had a purple line added under the person you're chatting with's name though.

What is so bad about Metro. Besides the waste of space, it's quite a bit better than the dated, glossy Aero look.

Things that I want in the new steam;

>A whole section or corner to post messages or comments by just clicking the thread or comments or whatevs
>More horizontal space used effectively, smartly and purposefully. Steam isn't laid out for wide screen use
>Multi monitor use so I can choose which monitor certain games open up on or just steam. Tiresome to change my whole computer's main monitor settings just cause I want to play one or two games on my big screen

There are no tabs though and that's the problem. Each segment is a whole web page so if you are online, it refreshes the entire page, and that is what causes the delay. Modern web browsers have tabs, steam doesn't have tabs.
