I assume it will be above average objectively but horrible for me. I expect it to be quite interesting though (in the same way as the Compilation).

I would've preferred VII-2, since it was implicitly promised eleven years ago and now we need to wait for the Remake to end before it as well. Although I understand that if they were going to make the assets for VII-2, they might as well push out the Remake first to cash in on the effort. I don't blame them. I would've done it too. I fully expect it to be shit, people wanted this remake years ago and now that the hype has died down they've somehow decided that an episodic release is the thing to do. If the game has FF15 style combat and FF15's combat ends up sucking then FF7's remake will be a double decker shit sandwich.
