Underated gem. I spent countless hours on this.
...
literally everyone who had a ps1 i grew up with played this, is Cred Forums so full of children these days ?
...
>the best worms
>games only you played
plaid
remember accidentally deleting saves or something on the muppet shit cause the save menu was sort of weird
worms from stickpage. Stickpage was the shit! until I grew out of austic stick figure fighting onto autistic newgrounds games.
...
>That one level with the bottomless pit
every kid in the 90's played that game in france
exept the n64 weirdos
Objective fact: Hogs of War is better than any 3D Worms game.
seriously though, did anyone play this?
I kind of miss the edgelord 90s video games from back in the day. Watching spawn on HBO made me a man.
wasn't really amazing.
good taste
you serious nigga ?
...
My aunt in the states sent me this game on ps1. Must have been the only kid in my country with a copy
most people were too busy playing MGS when SF came out
that game felt like a fever dream.
It's a surprisingly legit kart racer.
...
Mah niggas with good taste
Silent Bomber was the shit.
Not that silent tho.
thats not how you spell whacky wheels tho
Get ready to be triggered:
>tfw my dad worked security at the dev studio
>snagged a copy for free
>got it signed by douglas adams at the launch party
And yet I've never met another soul who played it.
I fucking loved this game so much as a kid.
>In 1888, Jack the Ripper – lamenting the fact that his ritualistic murders have not unlocked a mystical power that he believes to exist – prepares to take his own life. A man named Legion appears and tells Jack that the power he seeks does exist and offers to share this power with him if Jack constructs an insane asylum for like-minded killers in Deadside – the land of the dead. Proclaiming "for we are many!", Jack takes his own life.
I miss shitty plots like this, I genuinely do.
...
this, which a great party game.
this game is wicked sick dude
really fun to play at night without any lights on
still do.
>I don't drink. With snakes.
>final fantasy 7 was somehow more successful than grandia, which came out 1 year earlier
It hurts, Cred Forums
...
>get ready to be triggered
no one replies.
>just like my shitposting threads...
Played. 3/10 thread. C'mon fags, you aren't even trying today!
You actually played Starship Titanic? I thought I was alone.
Hello, brother. It's good to meet you at last.
Nobody here ever played this.
This movie had a QTE minigame on the disc. It was terrible.

...
I played the fuck out of the demo for this game on big fish a lot. I wish I could find a download for it now but I haven't found anything. It's called "Brave Dwarves" I think. I always remember it as "brave little dwarves" though.
Ive heard this game mentioned a bunch but isnt it really expensive now?
Shadowman isn't entirely obscure, just a pretty out there ps1/n64 era game. I'm always excited to talk to people about it because of how weird of a game it was.
Played these.
The best part about this game is that at a glance it looks as though it's called Bruce Willis Apocalypse
It can be, but I just use a ps2 emulator on my pc to play it
...
Yea, but I think it's only the Wii version that's expensive considering that on the PS2 version I think you can only do 2 player games as opposed to 4 player on the wii
LITERALLY
I liked that more than Worms.
>SAYONARA, PIGGIES
Like worms 3d but.. semi fun
Hogs of war is what Worms wish it was when it jumped to 3d (and failed foro ver a decade).
EDUTAINMENT
I played through almost the whole campaign as a Necromancer, then I lost my save. Fuck my life.
Best hockey manager game I have ever played (and only)
>everyone gave this game a 1/10
still don't know why, the world is cute, the pets were fun, the ost was goat and the quest actually had sense.
I never finished it
Agreed. Were there any more Worms games released after the failed switch to 3D?
I liked that game, didn't finish it unfortunately.
They never stopped making worms.
>Go on NG+
>Only reward is a weapon
That's what I remember aside from the tonfa guy
a lot of them actually
>COME POWER OF THE UNIVERSE, HA, DRAGON KING SLICE
Heh, I had some good times spamming that dragon cut attack
This game is engraved in my heart
Best song
youtube.com
...
everbody here is too mainstream
too many kids in Cred Forums
The original (also known as Felony 11-79) certainly is far more well known than the sequel.
Well the ost is full of best songs, but wilderness is my personal favorite one
...
Louis, go play some Need for Speed 2
Hogs of War was dank as fuck, played that shit with mi m8's for hours.
One of the first PC video games I ever played. I don't know of anyone else who has played Mega Race.
Pretty sure anyone owned PS1 played it. Really fun game.
uh, no? The cheapest copy I can find in stores is like 50 bucks still. I never heard of this game during the PS1 days.
It was Worms 3d in good
God i Miss the 90's. Are there still private Servers up?
I'd still love to get some mp Matches up. This game was the shit
Oh, the memories...
...
...
I remember me and my cousins throwing down on the same keyboard. Loser walks.
best game
2 was good too, shame 3 sucked
Yes, it literally is.
I'm sure about 98% of the regulars on here are under 20.
This game is awesome.
I was gonna post that.
That gladiatoral battle with that one guy with black hair who's sister was turned into a fluffy thing was memorable. And all those toys. Fuck all those toys.
>it ain't meat starts playing
>that disk gun in 2
Used to play Hogs all the time until I found Worms 3D
pic related, love putting down criminal scum
>ITT wanna-be hipsters
>the meteor caller
My favorite was always this one.
does destroy all humans emulate well?
This series has the best-designed demons and undead in any ever
I always thought Justin was a girl before I got the game
>Ferguson-Police-Instruction-Manual.jpg
Fucking fun game though
Never managed to beat it.
Fuck that chessboard.
>Sequel NEVER EVER
I played the demo disc a fuckton, always wished I had the full version.
I played it but never finished it. Game was hard as fuck.
the designs are better in the images than in the game, but the soundtrack is fucking amazing.
2 really improved on everything, then 3 shit the bed all over.
Nah, it was pretty great mate.
>tfw you get to play as the dragon
fucking diamonds
Apparently at least 1/3rd of my 3x3 is games that only I played
What a cover, how's the game?
Jade Cocoon on PS1. I miss it. Fusing monsters was awesome.
Probably about as good as the movie
anyone else play this?
I haven't played it myself, but I have heard people call it a non-stop action fest.
Nightmare creatures on Ps1? Yeah brah.
...
Guess I'll need to take a look.
Yo, my cousin used to play that all the time.
You can play the human campaign where you drive around in a jeep with a MG and rockets and have tons of AI on your side ina big battle wiith lots of dragons and shit
Or you can play the Dragon campaign where you fly around as a big ass dragon decimating the humans
Its like a 6/10 I guess, most fun I had was being in a big human army fighting off dragons in a futile battle
A video game.
>cut a head off
>it still fights me
>enemies can fight eachother
more games need to do this
...
bring this series back but good
i played this lots with a friend and we're only 22 now, so not sure what it has to do with age.
I grew up thinking these were PS1 staples. Was I right? We all played these yeah?
The ad campaign for this was dope. Shame it didn't get good reception or I would've gone for it by the ads alone.
Pretty sure every 20-something from the UK on this site played that
Oh shit I remember playing this one with my dad when I was young, and that one were you had to cross the street as that drunk guy
This game was so good. I'm 90% this was what inspired Call of Juarez Gunslinger. They're too similar.
>Whacky Whools
I remember dicking around with the character changing cheat a shitload and spoiling major plot points by accident.
If you good friends this is a legit decent party game.
...
...
Close but no Cigar, I played the sequel to this game and loved it.
Piggystroika master race
Yes I know technically the sow-a-krauts are, shutup
...
I remember reload more. Wasn't there some way to unlock... a weird (teddy?) character? Can't remember it too well, but I remember it being awesome. Would probably be horrified these days at how much its aged.
>People posting popular vidya
Anybody?
Get your shit together, Cred Forums.
True patrician game coming true
Oh man I remember renting this and liking it so much I wanted my own copy, and figuring out how to win every match with the default fists. Then Robo-Pit 2 changed everything about it and it sucked.
Everybody
...
...
Played it the other night.
Was pretty fun.
It had such a great premise for a puzzle game. Really neat idea. Shame there wasn't any more of it, I had a feeling the devs wanted it to be more than it was.
The Tazmanian devil game was cash, only played the demo of Looney tunes sadly.
Yup
...
The fightan game wasn't really my thing, but Brand New Quest was.
Okay buddy what about this
That game is great.
>The fucking soundtrack on this game
This game wanted to be Castlevania+Devil May Cry.
It wasn't utterly terrible but it wasn't fantastic.
I find myself loving it regardless.
MDK 2
I always reinstall this each year because i remember how fun it is.
I never see this posted in these threads. Came here to post it myself.
I loved the setting and the atmosphere in this game. It came bundled with the first computer my family ever bought and this was the first PC game I ever played. I'd love to replay it, but I can't find a copy that I can get to run on Windows 8.
There is so much going on in that picture
What the hell
Way better than it had any right to be
Got the sqeual on Dreamcast.
this game got a release on steam a few months ago though the music is way too loud if anybody felt like playing it again
There were some camera problems and the biggest thing that hurted my eyes was animation, damn, if the animation would please my eyes i would forget about every problem of this game, however the animation was really bad, they should have outsourced it or take more care of it.
I remember playing the FUCK out of the demo whe. I got FFVII on PC.
>Stop, police!
>FREEZE!
It feels more like they spraed themselves too thin.
But considering the budget they had via the kickstarter it was really good.
I went in not knowing what to expect and came out with a platinum trophy can a bunny costume.
My first ps2 game
First game I played with my dad too he helped me beat the guy with the snake sword
Thanks for the nostalgia bro
What is this and is it good?
I literally found this game at a dumpster site. In like, near mint condition. After playing it, I can see why.
It's actually pretty great but I could never beat it.
Ultimate Stuntman ftw
here you go, it was a lot of fun!
...
True Patrician 9/10
I bought it with my ps3 it wasnt extremely bad but is clearly a 4/10 at most
Hogs of war was the shit though
This is a really good game. I remember buying it from Toys R Us in the 90s for $15 and was impressed. Never heard anyone else ever talk about it in real life.
...
Shadow President was okay
It was a simpler time with shittier games we didn't even like but played anyway
Temple of Elemental Evil, yes.
...
holy fuck

OOOO SHIT MY NIGGER IS THAT NETSTORM.

>choosing anything other than wind power
Was just about to post this user
>That main hub theme
...
This game
>only you
You wish. Hogs of War are moderately pop.
fuggin impossible you mean
Corridor 7 is good for anyone who likes extremely mediocre (but not offensively bad) Wolfenstein 3D ripoffs in outer space
I'm willing to bet a good amount of you fucks haven't played this.
Made me think of Base Wars for nintender.
Worth playing? Ain't got shit to do might give it a download.
same here. Fixing dat tram though. And that poor guy in the hospital
Reign of Fire was such a fuckin badass movie. Forgot there was a game though.
There was this point n click adventure game I played as a kid where the player controlled an alien trying to rescue his alien buddies from alien hunter and escape. Game was cartoonesque and humorous, don't remember the title.
Another alien-related game that I don't remember the tirle was where the player controlled an alien in 3d person on some island or something, there were different creatures to avoid/fight, crocodiles among them. One of the weapons was crocodile eggs (rare) - if you thrown them near an enemy crocodile, your crocodile attacked the enemy one. The alien also had a gun with limited ammo, I remember that there was no crosshair, instead when I pressed aim it zoomed at alien's antennal and the tip of antennal worked as a crosshair
Pitball was pretty sweet yeah.
...
Fuck I remember playing the demo of this on Tomb Raider
I always notice in these threads there's tons of PSOne and Xbox games that hardly anyone ever played.
What was it about those systems that made these obscure games so ubiquitous? I get it with the obscure PC games because the platform is so open, but was it just stupidly easy to license vidya on Xbox and PSone?
Anyone has an idea what was the second game?
iirc inputting mardy pigs into the cheat entry unlocked the purple team
Pretty sure they were unlocked after completing the main campaign too.
it was pretty fun desu
This was my first 3D game before Tomb Raider and Alone In The Dark. Just blew me away.
Anyone?
Swery game, interesting fact
bump
...
fuck you I played it
I loved those giant monsters who would throw barrels and other items at you while you were on your dragon, then they'd throw the regular enemies at you when they ran out of those.
holy SHIT dude I had that. I kid you not.
And yeah, giant scorpion. Don't think I ever got to it but I saw it on the back of the case. That game was hard as shit.
>The reds are on fire, better stand back before getting burnt
I completely forgot PO'ed was a saying, it was definitely replaced by PWNed.
dat end of the PS1 release.
I think I buy this for any system I own. Next up, the windows versions...
I played this and the sequel with my step brother
every few hours he'd rape me
Nigga, that game was a 8/10 twin stick shooter,
Still have it mint in case.
loved this game
you get to fight walking asses that fart at you
1/2
2/2
I played this
more of a Playjam guy myself tho
...
Probably the only person in the world who played blitterboy
...
>tfw you're still playing it
i havent, but it made for a very good CoG video
Wow that looks cool, is it like an Oasis type rpg or typical jrpg?
Can't get to run in in Windows 10.
Apparently those dumbfucks lost the entire codes, so compatibility? Never ever!
I did.
Wish I didn't lost he manual.
RSVP was the fucking jam. I used to let the game sit on the main menu to listen to it. A few levels had really good tunes too. Always played as Cap n Hands

Yeah... no...
Nope, and I only got midway through it, but the arena levels were fun, not too hot on the races
Hydrophobia
This game soundtrack was Godlike.
...
Oscar (1993) for the Amiga. Commodore's poor attempt at creating a famous brand mascot...that just ended up looking like a poor man's Sonic. Game was actually quite a solid platformer though with each level themed on a movie genre. Commodore went bust a year after his introduction.
Got it for my b day. What a waste of a present. Awful controls.
I totally forgot about this game
This game was pretty popular in the UK. I had it and new a few others that did too. I mean John fucking Cleese is in it, it wasn't that obscure.
...

Looks awful.
OMG THIS GAME WAS ALSO THE S%!T
"Hell yeah Enforcer! Your racing opponents are twisted slag as we speak!"
Played the fuck out of that game.
ANY inhabitants here?
MY OBSCURITY SHALL BEAT YOU ALL
Fuck yeah man.
the PC version was a god damn masterpiece, I don't know how the PS1 time tried to get it so close. It was a good try, but MDK on PC stands out as one of the greatest old games.
Looks like that game's title should have a "Fo".
Holy shit! Played that over a 2 week family holiday to Italy. It was shit!
Also a bunch of weird ass games that I played on my mom's imac g3 back when they hadnt given up on gayman
Tazer and shield was all you needed.
Exactly this.
And who could forget this creepy ass shit, technically not even a game
HOLD THE FUCKING PHONE NIGGA, i had been looking for this games for ages, but i didn't remembered their names. Thanksss
love that game
better than ff
Ayyyyyyyyy, you could also unlock characters from Dynasty Warriors 2
It even had R. Lee Ermey show up to yell randomly strung-together military phrases to distinguish it from the rest of the CnC clones.
>WarWind
Fuck i loved that game.
...
i have this on the wii, the AI cheats so damn bad.
i had the demo. it was badass.
Anyone played this?
Ah the nostalgia.
The level with stopping the missile launch was HARD.
Played it to death and beat it in the cinema arcade fgt, get on my level

Heavy metal fakk 2 was so fucking glorious.
O shit. I had literally no idea what the fuck it was about, nor how to play it.
One of my favorites
my negro. i still remember the music.
I'm INCREDIBLY baffled why this doesn't have a sequel. I just need a new good mecha video game, damn it.

There was a SNES game I used to love as a kid; I can't remember the name, but you played as a (blue?) warrior who had to hit a ball in order to do "goals" and win. It sounds vague as fuck but that's all I can recall.
...
It's this weird ass pinball game where you control some soldiers with a microphone. It's also entirely in Japanese.
have you tried one of these videos to find it?
Good but not the best song

Played this user but it was absolutely terrible
This was my teenage gateway drug into JRPGs for the first time, Star Ocean 2 followed, then Lunar, and the rest is fagstory
I NEVEEERRR HAD TO KNOCK ON WOOD....
...
At least half of the thicc VHS-sized case games were probably a staple during it's ho-hum launch year. Even though the PSX was pretty much the clear winner of gen 5, in comparison to launch N64 games, it's early 3D games were a clusterfuck of poorly-modeled polygons, with it's most impressive games being sprite-based
I liked this one as a plebian teenager that was used to whatever an S3 Trio-based PC could run, but holy fuck did it age like smeg
There are some interesting faces on that cover
I wanted to enjoy this but the water physics seem so fucked that you could never have a race without some glitchy shit happening.
Play it again and use the "extreme water physics" cheat if you just want to see how much stupider it gets. Multi would be cool... but so would having friends...
first computer game i played was at school was this edutainment one, i cant quite place the name you were this kid in a hat, throwing bananas at the monsters and had to solve puzzles to open the doors, collecting parts to build boxcars and shit to race this dr wily looking guy
first games on my first computer were dungeon keeper 1 and earthsiege 2, man i love that short range laser whip thing
Who else uses these threads to find new games?
I've downloaded like 4 ps1 games outta here
