Literally no reason to not get Yellow, unless you care about Surge having more than 1 Pokemon.

Yellow if you're friendless, want all 3 starters, or just really want color on VC. Its only exclusive is wild Farfetch'd, but it has a lot of the better former exclusive Pokemon.

Red/Blue if you want more replay value from starter choice, or you just really like some of the Pokemon missing from Yellow.

Blue just for the cover alone. Blastoise a best.

The glitch is in all three games, user. Also, there's some missing from Yellow in addition to Raichu.
