Well his bosman at home videos were set up with that disclaimer of it never being a serious thing, so he never took it seriously.
I'd imagine that wouldn't be the case if he committed to a weekly series like Final Bosman.

I like their dynamic, and they all are critical thinkers, which is all I really care about. Ian can annoy the shit out of me, but then have me laughing the next minute. It helps that they all seem to have a pretty generous sense of humor about themselves, so even when things get political, it rarely lasts for very long.

Ian has my respect for the time being, because despite being very chummy with some of the known indie SJW cabal, he didn't jump right on board with making fun of GG when Mandatory Update was arguably at the height of its popularity. They clearly had complete creative control there, which tells me that although they may be acquainted with some of those people, they chose to stay out of it due to the "shady backdoor dealings." Also, Ian at least actually plays games, and likes games like Bloodborne, which I can assume means he is personally against the whole "games need to have easy modes so everyone can play them" SJW movement.

I would not say Kyle is leaving EZA or really beginning to, he's just paying the bills man. Dorito Pope probably just tapped his shoulder to help him with this new show of his. They and the GT crew have known each other for years,and was technically the GT crew's boss.

EZA is currently making 38k a month, but they have a large staff. Between paying people, business expenses, and overall saving up for the future, it's not a lot of money I imagine. While their vids have ads, I doubt many people are turning off adblock for EZA.
