Before you say I'm lucky (well, I am), I did do the research for all the condos. I moved in an up and coming popular area in Colorado, so my condo has appreciated in area worth alone by $75,000 since I moved in two years ago.

In my experience most academics (business school) are either old men who got tired of the corporate life and wanted to teach and chill. These guys are fairly lazy and reluctant to follow the academic guildlines but do so to keep the job up.

I have tried very hard in the past to be something other than a loafabout who plays videogames but losing my last girlfriend made me lose drive to do so. Not because I'm emotionally damaged beyond all hope, but because every other passtime is inexplicably more expensive.

I could quite easily run up $500 in one week going out alone or with friends to eat, drink, and catch a concert. Even trying to be conservative I'd still hit $200 a week.

I wondered about that, how 10 meals could be as much as a game console? What reason is there for me to indulge just the interest in food variety that ultimately takes up the majority of my pay? I have to go scrounge like a fucking parasite to get even a part-time job and its never enough to pay for anything. I have to save every fucking dollar like its fucking raw diamonds because I don't even know the next time I'll work. what makes this worse is Im more than willing to work. I do fucking yard and slight landscaping work for some old folks. Im not unaccustomed to actually working my ass off. Government spending increases GDP as the government typically invests that money to various public works and services. Corporations are mostly owned by the wealthy thus profits are distributed to the wealthy and often transferred overseas and otherwise not reinvested at anywhere close to the same rate as the government.

We did trickle down in the 80's. It didn't work. Why you wish to do the same thing again yet expect different results is beyond me.
