Then it's an ez case of seeing what the buttons do. They have patterns, at least on softcore, and honestly I would think the puzzles didnt change for hardcore but even if they do this is a surefire way of opening the door

Then I went to blue, through the water section, where I found a green plug thing.

Then there was a diving section which ultimately ended me at a locked yellow (or orange) keycard door.
