Fuck the OS off and get a better gpu
>windows 10
yeah im probably gonna end up getting a 470
but what do you mean fuck the os, like pirate it or what?
yeah i know, i just got used to it after my laptop auto updated
Heres one with a better card
>and os
Just pirate your OS fag lord, and get a 480 instead.
Ive never pirated an os, so im being a pussy about it
plz no bully
Everyone pirates the OS. Don't spend that much on a fucking bullshit OS you can get for free. It exists, its real, it's not a meme
aight cool, thanks for setting me straight
ill get rid of that optical drive while im at it then
anything that im skimping out on? dont want to realise something is too shit to deal with down the line
>>anything that im skimping out on?
>25 dollar power supply
lol yeah, like that
seriously i know little about hardware
but to be fair, its on sale its normally $35
save some money and get i3-6100 cpu and ddr4 mobo/ram
normally 60
seems to be an improvement smug anime girl
much better.
There's a certain price to performance threshold where you'd be losing a ton more money by skimping out on certain things. For example, if you are able to save another $100-200 you could get better parts overall.
I heard dual core cpus are bad for gaming, or is that a meme?
also that's $110 to my 72
yeah, I just have no idea what is skimping out and what the threshold is
I'll definitely save what I can
oh, i see what you where saying about saving, i read that wrong
...
i have a g3258 which is a dual core, and its fine. I OCd it to 4.8 and its even better
but in some games that utilize all four cores, ur gonna have a hard time
cpu.userbenchmark.com
you can always upgrade that i3 to i5/i7 if you need and that ddr4 would give a nice fps boost
Thanks a lot!
this is very helpful
I would trade the case you have for a micro atx case
fractal define mini
corsair 88r or 100r
uuuh
desu there arent many GREAT micro atx cases, but so far the best one to get would be the 88r or 100r

this any good? anything I need to replace? 8gb ram or 16?
I have a pre-built and I'm kinda weary on this.
I have a 4K monitor I got for free btw.

Aftermarket cooling isn't necessary on a locked CPU, starting with an SSD now makes it much easier to move things over to a mass storage HDD later than doing it the other way around, the semi-modular feature is a nicer bonus than the 50 watts you're trading on the PSU, and the GPU is a better version of the 480 than the reference version you're looking at.
