Ayy Lmao

2 days after console release and I haven't seen any thread about Xcom 2. Are console friends enjoying it ? Or was it all the case of jealous kid wanting big brother's toys with no desire or ability to play with them ?

Xcom 2 was a very, very frustrating game to play on PC, I didn't expect discussion to last longer than 4 months total after initial release.

Do you own the game yet, OP? Have you been shafted by RNG?

I own it on PC and I'm curious if after all those golden faces and never evers, console players even give a fuck

Oh damn, I completely forgot about wifey modifications.

If they did half a minute of research they'd have given it a pass.

I loved enemy within on PS3 but i heard shit things about 2 on pc so I'm going to pass for now

I loved xcom 2 but it's frustrating to play due to how poorly optimized it is. It's also partly my own fault for playing it with over a hundred mods active.

I probably won't get it it until I get a new PS4
I am looking foward to playing it though. Is slicing up ayys with the aword class viable.

where's the nude mods?

Get an account on loverslab and look for the XCOM 2 mod index in the Adult Gaming section, there's a couple really good mods there

>LE BAD RNG IS WHY I LOST
I adore this meme. The only time the game cheats, it does so in your favor when you consecutively miss shots on lower difficulties. That's it. The reason you lost wasn't "bad RNG" or "bad luck." The reason you lost was your shit positioning, wrong equipment, ill-fitting squad makeup, inappropriate level of aggressiveness, poor cover choice, lack of foresight, and/or garbage tactics. Be honest with yourself and stop blaming the game for your own mental deficiency and lack of skill. In short, git gud.

>Is slicing up ayys with the aword class viable.
Not without mods.

XCOM 1 flopped hard on consoles, so will XCOM 2.

People smart enough to be good at XCOM are smart enough to not shitpost and start console wars.

>have over a hundred mods
>haven't touched the game since March except to install all the DLC packs
>want to start playing it again but I just know all the updates broke all of my shit and I'll have to spend a whole day reinstalling and troubleshooting mods
Fuck this, boys.

Having a fucking blast playing, started on Commander and it's been a rough ride. I haven't lost a single mission yet but I lose soldier left and right. The infirmary time feels insane compared to XCOM 1. Finally glad to have the AWC to speed that up.

Specialists are incredible and while I know Ranger swords aren't viable I'm having a blast with them. Snipers are also crazy with lightning hands and gut shots.

I love how it retains core aspects of XCOM 1 but flips so much shit on its head to actually feel different. Just got plasma grenades from Mutons so hopefully that will make dealing with their asses a bit better. I might have fucked myself though because I forgot to build a communications system to reach more contacts, so I can't get to the next blacksite and the doomsday clock is getting close.

Happy with the port, everything works and I've had no crashes or mission ruining glitches. It hitches and drops framerates or just doesn't do cinematic stuff properly but that's fine since I saw it in the PC version too.

Overall tickled pink I finally go this game after loving EU and EW so goddamn much, I was bummed to hear no console at first. It was worth the wait.

I really enjoyed playing the Last XCOM (eventhrough I only Finished it one)

I was actually wondering if the Second one is any good. I remember Cred Forums having conflicting opinions on it when it first came Out on PC

Did the mechsuits from the dlc return if so what can they do and do you get supernatutal powers this Time earlier around?

glad you enjoy it

XCOM2 frustrated me more than XCOM ever did.
Take that as you will.

It fucking sucks on the console, it's so fucking complicated.

No MECs but DLC adds a class that's basically the same thing.

You can research psionics kind of early on and train any soldier you want as a psi op.

Sounds good. The PS4 versions comes with all the dlc right?
How is Enemy vararity and overall fun?

No it didn't, retard, it completely exceeded expectations.

And the expectations were about 5k copies sold. There were still 10x as many copies sold on PC.

>It's also partly my own fault for playing it with over a hundred mods active.

"Parly"

>the game actually runs better on consoles than on PC
>the game was supposed to be a PC exclusive
PCucks on literal suicide watch. This is the beginning of the end for them.

The fps issues stopped me from playing when it was released and lost motivation to play it. Have they been fixed yet? The game was so hype though.

Okay, so? What's your point? I didn't say that it sold as much on consoles as on PC, I said that the console sales exceeded expectations. You have to think about this relatively and scale your judgment. An XCom game is never going to sell as well on consoles as on PC, nor is it going to do huge CoD-tier numbers.

Yes it runs somewhat better, but still not super smooth
