As much as a lot of people don't give it much thought, Princess Maker was always a serious franchise of Gainax. From their background as multimedia professionals they still had a lot of pride when it came to the productions.

Princess Maker 5 has you earning money every money as a government worker, salesman, etc.

Princess Maker 3 lets you pick a profession that changes your daughter's starting stats and the yearly stipends you get.

You were never meant to be able to access the debug though. And that's the only thing that has been corrected.

On one hand I really wish it supported it. And hopefully the future games will.

Which isn't particularly representative. And the voice acting would be a selling point I imagine. They really should get a second trailer up. Valve themselves have proven they are cool with it, and hopefully this was intentional and they only censored the Korean version for Korea specific reasons, and they don't alter it in other language releases with a future update (although practically reverting it would have been trivial even if it were censored only in the first place).
