NOA's StarTropics ad. Nintendo, if they wanted to, could have gotten Retro or Next level to make a console sequel or reboot to this series to compete with Uncharted and Tomb Raider, but they didn't. Instead, they let Mike Jones die.

As much as I adore StarTropics, I never got the impression that it was especially loved in the US. If the Punch Out!! reboot was only a modest success, I can't imagine them wasting their time with digging up StarTropic's grave.
I was pleasantly surprised to see it included on NES Classic Edition, though.

I am gonna try to get my hands on one, if only for possible hackability. Due to the spacing of the Micro USB and upside-down HDMI on the back, and comparing it to other boards out there, I wouldn't be surprised it's modified Pi in a shell.
