There was never any visual downgrade, it always looked like that in the trailers. Even if it was I wouldn't give a shit. Cred Forums always loves to say graphics are unimportant until they find a case where they can harp on about graphics. I stand by that graphics are the least important part of a game, and in MN9's case you're always moving so fast you barely notice any details.

You may be funding the development, but you're also getting the product itself. All that changes is the time of delivery

I know Cred Forums is a lot of people with different opinions on graphics, and I get they aren't the most important part, but that game just looks plain ugly, I feel like the assets don't even mesh well sometimes, I'm not talking photorealism here, the game looks bad, it's not enough to kill it but it stings the eyes.

It's more than enough to make a game at the level they wanted to, but they took way to long to release it so the man hours piled up and you could tell they were running out of money, if they had done it quick and clean that is more than enough money.
