>doesn't actually post a pic of the actual lakeside or Kaer Morhen.
Outlands Nagrand was also the comfiest shit ever

>this begins to play as you're looking up into the Twisting Nether at night
Xenoblade is chocked full of maximum comfiness.
EZ Peeazzzy

Ain't shit compared to Azuremyst.
I actually LOVE Azuremyst's soundtrack, though it's really a shame that it's just really dead. I didn't ever make a Draenei until early wrath. Believe me, it's up there.

this. the train, the workshop, juraks village.. that game is incredibly comfy
...
It doesnt get comfier than this
Bruma was always my favourite city
I loved Ash Lake in Dark Souls
Lads is it better to read the books before playing this game?
I read the first one so long ago and I barely remember, my brother has them though
>that fucking scale of distance
>everything echoes
fug man, this place is fucking cool.

You can play the games without reading the books but it is so much better to read them. You get more immersed in the story plus it's easier to role play as Geralt once you know his complete backstory.
Yes you will get more out of them , especially the first game if you read the books
...
Literally, Comfy: The Game
Guild Wars, Ascalon pre searing
Patrician choice, the whole chapter is absolutely comfy.
Too bad the rest of the game was barren shit
Before Blizzard changed the night setting, most zones in the night were cool as shit
Thank you for the protips, also it's good to know that here there are who do something else apart from playing videogames, I wasn't expecting any answer desu
Last time I checked like two years back, there were only one or two books that were translated. Which books are the most worth reading?
>Anvil and Bruma
Both nice cities, but Cheydinhal is clearly the coziest city in the game.
>Guild Wars
>shit
No, it's literally Gothic 2.
This game is equivalent to being under a warm blanket on a cold winter night.
In terms of areas, it was terrible. They focused so much on the mechanics that the actual campaign/plot falls apart after pre-searing. Only reason to bother is to get certain abilities for your PVP characters.
Nothing better than coming to this hole after hours of action.
>Tfw ur dog won't ever dig up a condom for you again
ok, thats cozy as fuck m8

Also, comfier but not by much: Howling Fjord in WoW.
cosmo canyon, comfiest of all time
Well, in my personal opinion I never finished DS2, while I finished DS1 a dozen times, so

Oh that, agree story is mediocre.
This while listening to Future Classic radio is the comfiest shit.

>not wonderland plaza
god damn i need to buy that game i 100%'d grow home except for a few dumb achievements on steam

Chapter 4 was a brilliant change of pace and setting.
>comfy countryside instead of the ghetto, sewers and swamp again
stardew valley is literally too comfy for its own good
you do cozy ass shit like go around down chattin it up, fishing, gathering herbs, tending your farm and every 30min or w/e your character goes to bed
i can only play like 3 days or w/e in-game before i need to take a nap IRL
Why are tiny gnomes worshiping a giant dick idol?
Becoming a knight definitely felt comfy
What did they do? Never played WoW, but I'm curious. Did they brighten the nights or something?
>BoF3
Mah nigga. The whole first half of that game is super comfy and quaint. I know people bitch about the game "taking too long to start" but it's really neat how it transitions. I wish more games had noteworthy time gaps in them.
Also Capcom stole those beats.
...
Fucking Traverse Town, man. The look and music is just so comfortable. It's no wonder no other Kingdom Hearts is as good as the first, none of them have Traverse Town (except for Chain of Memories, but randomly generated Traverse Town isn't so good).
Now I like KH2 more than 1, but you're absolutely right about Traverse Town. It's perfect.
MAXIMUM COMY THE GAME
>dull greys and browns
>comfy
nah
High level comfy games.

Capcom could make fucking fantastic soundtracks back then.
anything in xenoblade or xeno x
What the fuck happened with Witcher 2? I felt like the relaxing music = gone, comfy villages and countrysides were replaced with army camps. Even all the towns in 2 were small as fuck compared to Vizima. There was just none of that charm and uniqueness in 2
...
Many original devs left, company shat out the game for quick bux rather than a passion project like 1 was
Vizima was split up by multiple loading zones, and I always found Flotsam to be hella comfy. That forest with impossibly large trees and this tiny walled city nestled right into it just felt great.
Beyond that one area nothing was comfy though. 3 had a lot of comfy small towns though.
...
W2 plot revolves around certain locations. And yes, they are drastically different games. You still have a lot of cool shit in W3.
Yeah but it had the excuse of being run on an old ass engine and 2 had tons of loading screens too in Flotsam, even more so relative to the size
>Give me credit for distributing copyrighted artwork
Little snots.
I guess we're not gonna mention 3D?
My nigger
>those brain pieces
How's Stardew Valley?
>Little snots.
...
You mean DDD? If Traverse Town was in there, I forgot it. Basically the only things I remember about DDD were the dumbest pieces of plot.
It's "New" Traverse Town.
>Ruining Traverse Town
I hope they never slept again.
The devs or Sora and Riku? Because it works either way.
I thought Vergen was really comfy with the Dwarven architecture.
...
Well, there were more army camps and more of a focus on politics because that's what the story was about - the impending war and the increasing tensions between kingdoms and such. There were still comfy areas.
>Flotsam and the surrounding countryside are 10/10
>Vergen was comfy, even though the map was shit. The area around it was good too, even with the loud harpies
>Roche's army camp was actually great and I loved getting tattooed, getting drunk, and broing it up with the Blue Stripes
I disliked Loc Muine, and it felt like W2 had less areas and content than W1, but it still felt great. Haven't played 3 yet.
Fucking the Blue ice twilight map from JKA multiplayer.
Another screen. These just don't capture it.
fuckkkkk
