It's only one guy working on the game. Game development takes time, man.

Just one guy and I think he took a couple months off after working on it for years after the last bugfix patch.

He's updated with plenty of small patches to fix and balance things as well as small updates that added more meaning to late game.

He took a break for a while and then got back to working on the big patch thats coming out soon.

Outside of marriage not mattering much, the game was pretty much a full package. Didn't really need constant content patches.
