MMZ3 will always be my favourite MMZ game because of the soundtrack, even if it's the easiest of the four.

Man, all those Sasuke episodes were so boring. Susanoo was so gamebreakingly overpowered you knew he was going to win the fight no matter what. You knew Naruto was the MC so he'd win out in the end but he didn't have an invincible shield that let him win every fight by just standing there, he had to do some actual work before throwing a rasengan.

Not because he's hard, but because it's a battle of cultural icons. The fight is actually pretty damn hard by itself, but by the time you reach Omega you're so fucking decked out with upgrades that you're completely unstoppable.

It was also hype. They even brought back Omega in ZX for no reason other than he was cool.

Be honest, this was the best part of the fight

Everything that happened from Pain reviving everyone onward was painful tripe that legitimately felt like fanfiction.

The war of recycled villains was almost an insult, and the mary sue powerups being handed out constantly felt like two children having a roleplay battle over Facebook.

Also an organisation of ninjas deciding to spare the biggest threat they'd ever faced because he felt kinda bad for his actions was retarded. I nearly dropped the series without reading the last few chapters when Tsunade told Kakashi not to finish off Obito because it was just unbearable by that point.

it was so much better early on, before we knew the god shit. I think it was still decent until it jumped to shit-pudden.

I stopped reading as soon as I saw Zabuza or whatever his name was come back to life. It wasn't anything amazing, but I enjoyed reading the manga up to that point. I knew as soon as him and Haku came back that it was done though.

The fight on the bridge at the very beginning and Shikamaru vs the guy that killed his mentor were the best parts of the manga.

I've been looking for a series to watch. I used to watch Naruto when it first started airing on Toonami but after the fight exam thing I stopped watching it.

I know it has a lot of filler, if I decide to watch it I'll probably find that anime filler list website and watch the essential ones.

It is extremely stupid and shoneny but some of the characters are decent and a few fight scenes are pretty top tier. But even without the filler it's still a pretty long series.

The biggest problem with Naruto is that, particularly around the halfway point, it became inundated with sloppy attempts at moral lessons that were essentially "ahhh this world is bad gosh this world is so darn awful, we should totally change it"

The problem was the way the world was presented never really never really measured up with this. The village seemed like a decent enough place to be, and the only problems came from aberrants who were obsessed with overhauling everything. Even the other villagers seemed fine whenever the focus actually rested on them, leading to the weird scenario where we're told each village is equally bad, but whenever it's shown the perpetrator is some renegade nobody likes, or a literally who bg nobody who does a bad thing but is conveniently not a real character.

If the series was gonna stick to the 'ninja world is bad' theme, it should have made it a dystopia from the start.
