Dragon Quest 7 3DS

Rainbow 6 Siege

redout

I guess ?

50 cent blood on the sand

Grow Up

Dragon Quest 7
Ratchet and Clank
Darkest Dungeon

Clustertruck

I've not purchased any video games this year

Bioshock remastered

Nigga, if you wanted recommendations you could have just asked.

Furi

I played that game again with my friend this year. It was amazing.

This year I was satisfied with:

DOOM
Dark Souls 3
The Witness
Inside
XCOM 2

A few of those were out on other systems last year but I only play on Xbox One.

SMT IV APOC

Project Highrise

world of final fantasy

Spirit of Justice.

Deus Ex

Mind not blown but good enough for satisfaction

Kirby: Planet Robobot

I'm not a robot

dragons dogma: DA on PC since the last cuntsole i owned was an n64

Forza Horizon 3 so far, really enjoyable

That was last year you idiot.

...

For someone that has never played an SMT game, is SMT IV a good starting point?

...

World Of Warcraft: Legion. What do I win?

Total War: Warhammer

Not the other user, but absolutely. The only other good option would be Nocturne.

Noice, I was mostly drawn to IV after listening to the soundtrack.

How do you enjoy that game? Like what part of the core gameplay loop do you enjoy?

The grinding boring kill X ____, gather Y _____ quests to get to max level?

The easy raids?

The content gating, the gear checks, or the LFR button?

this.

newest game ive gotten for like 5 bucks is alien isolation.....i liked it in the beginning, the atmosphere is really dope, but its been so slow that i started to lose interest. Ill probably try it again after i beat the evil within. another game i liked for the same reasons, but its one of those games for me where if i stop playing for a week or a month i suck ass at it and cant play for shit

Pokken Tournament.

I knew I would probably enjoy it but I didn't expect it to be as much fun and as competitively deep as it is.

By far the best soundtrack of the year so far as well.

It's a good thing too since I didn't end up liking Splatoon or Smash that much and if Pokken wasn't as good as it was I probably would have had buyers remorse for the WiiU

DooM
Grim Dawn

Probably Final Fantasy XV

*yawn* Next troll?

Firewatch. I thought the writing and voice acting were damn good.

Nights of Azure
Digimon Cyber Sleuth

Total warhammer
SMT final/apocalypse
Doom

Plenty others.

SMT iv goes on sale plenty often on the eshop and amazon has it for 20 shekels, it's definitely worth a purchase. Not my favorite SMT but a good playthrough is at least 50-60 hours and good fun.

Trails of Cold Steel II, and I also expect to enjoy the new Neptunia game coming out in October as well.

I got Doom 4 for 20 bucks when it was on sale at Gamestop. I beat it on nightmare and got the platinum trophy. It was fun and I got my money's worth.

Just one? I have a few but gun to my head RE0 games for the PS4.

... Was that this year?

Obduction > The Witness, IMHO

There was a lot of shit wrong with Bravely Second but the gameplay was still fun so I'm satisfied with it
oh wait it came out in japan in 2015
fuck it

Well it's rumored to be getting a console release so I'll definitely give it a shot if it hits the Xbox One.

Everything in pic related above 'meh' level.

Also Cossacks 3 so far.

doom and inside.

God Eater Resurrection

...

Just one? I Am Setsuna. Otherwise, I've been satisfied with pretty much every game I've bought from the year.

overwatch
firewatch

Doom, but only b/c I rented it. Polished that bad boy off in a weekend for only 6 RedBox buxx.

New Doom.

Bullet Girls 2

>liking videogames on Cred Forums

Your kind aren't welcome here

Odin Sphere Leifthrasir

New Doom
Hyper Light Drifter
Monster Hunter Generations
Uncharted 4
Metroid 2 Remake

Coming soon...Dishonored 2

Pretty good year actually.

I like the part where I watch the numbers go up in a game I'm nostalgic for. The best part is is that it takes up so much time that I'm kept busy from other concerns in my life for only 15 dollars a month.

Haydee

Also, Odin Sphere Remake. I don't know how I forgot that one.

Factorio. Technically early access but it might as well not be. It's more polished than many released games.

If that doesn't count then despite its flaws I was satisfied with XCOM 2.

>HLDrifter and Valhalla mid-tier
why not higher? I'm about to buy both and don't want to regret the $15/$30.

Wew lad that's easy

-Dragon's Dogma PC port
-EDF4.1 (released in EU)
-NioH alpha
-Digimon Cybersleuth
-Gravity Rush PS4
-Witch & the Hundred Knight
-Salt & Sanctuary (perfect wait for DaS3, which I was not satisfied with so I won't post that)
-Battlefleet Gothic Armada
-Gundam Breaker 3
-Grand Kingdom
-Odin Sphere Leifthrasir
-Star Ocean 5
-NioH beta
-Destiny: Rise of best Raid & exotic weapon quest

Why not ask abotu disappointments instead? It would be a much shorter list:
-XCOM2
-DaS3
-Alienation

Holy shit this year(gen) has been bad. Ps4 I still have zero games and I bought it at release and on PC Overwatch is pretty much only game iv played this year and its not that good, just nothing better.

Uncharted 4
Doom
Ashes of the Singularity
Hitman
Monster Hunter Generations
LEGO Star Wars The Force Awakens
Easy. There have been plenty of good games this year.

DOOM's single player Ultra Nightmare is fun and satisfied me.

Dark Souls III was a close second. Looking forward to the DLC but I heard it was going to be short as fuck... That's disappointing.

'Mid tier' is 'okay tier'

Good and up is exactly what it says on the tin.

Project X Zone 2 is the only one that comes to mind

No Man's Sky

W-what?

Bought Devil Daggers for 1 dollar from Humble Bundle, I'm pretty happy with it. It's especially fun since I have a friend to compete with.

It allowed for greater amounts of shitposting than ever before.

I don't know if it came out this year or last year, but I just played Ratchet and Clank PS4.

Fucking phenomenal. More than satisfied and am completely confident in Insomniac handling the upcoming Spidey.

You got me OP. I can't do it.

nah, you just have shit tastes.
I mean, real shitty ones.
So much good shit has come out and all you play is a nu-blizzard game.

You are perfect for Cred Forums I guess, a completely jaded and worn out player that thinks the industry is going to shit when in fact he is.

>Destiny
Shit taste, user

Pretty good year for tasteless casuals.

Dragon's Dogma on PC

Can't remember the last time I was so engrossed on a game that I would wake up in the morning and play the game, then see night fall approaching on the window sill. I thought I would never experience that shit again.

>UNCHARTED 4
>DOOM
>Overwatch

sure, had flaws. But they were good.

Furi.

OP asked for personal opinions
Fuck off

I bought everything and enjoyed nothing.

Ace Attorney spirit poo f justice

I don't actually pay that much attention to what year things come out, only to what year I bought them in.

>Dishonored 2

Ah the shill strikes again
Don't you have another recycled thread to make?

Stardew Valley is great

youtube.com/watch?v=QHRuTYtSbJQ

As an Xbox One owner I was immensely satisfied with how that game turned out.

it was a shitty game by some no-name indie dev that was primarily on PC

It really is. It's the only game I REALLY got into for about a week or two.

Most fun and hours I've got out of 30€ for a good while.

Destiny is not shit anymore like it was at launch, and even then the Raid alone made up for it. In fact I skipped all DLC up to this point so I've had a lot of content to chew through. The point of it is playing with friends, there's not really any other shooter with raids out there and the gameplay is solid so it's been fun. what can I say~

playing it at 3K 60fps after experiencing 20fps + crop-bar rez was unreal. Also making the cast of Leon:The Professional as my characters was neat.

>making the cast of Leon:The Professional as my characters was neat.

>A few decent exceptions mean the industry is great
You're retarded.

Dark Souls 3
DOOM

Doom.
Now that I think of it it's the only new game I've played all year. But I enjoyed it.

I honestly can't, 2015 and 2016 both haven't appealed to me. Here's hoping 2017 is better.

Doom or Ace Attorney: Spirit of Justice

Gave you two, suck it.

>the nose

Ratchet & Clank was decent.

>I only played the latest nu-Blizzard game when there are already 2016 GOTY's out there
>my opinion is relevant in any way

Not sure if you should talk to me or my son ever again

Mankind Divided

Haydee

Mirrors edge catalyst.
