Nothing, if they hype the console and it's good, their games and early bandwagonning might earn them more spotlight with Nintendo, like how Nintendo showed off Bayo 2 and W101, but if the sales are slow, they can cancel projects and fuck off acting like they were never interested in it to begin with.

Like how they fucked over people with the 3DS Assassin's Creed when the launch wasn't great, and how they utterly botched the launch of Rayman Legends.

Ubi will always support any new console right out the gate and say it'll be great, but they're probably the most fair-weather devs out there in vocal support.

How can they be making money if they stopped making games? Are they getting enough revenue just from shit like Super Mystery Dungeon, SMT and ports from the WiiU to 3DS?

Unlike microsoft or sony nintendo never sells consoles at a loss, so once you've bought one of their consoles they've already made their money back and are done with you, the games are just icing on the cake past that.

Wll, most games were Multiplats, I don't recall the last exclusive game they made other than ZombiUI, but we know how that ended.

No More Heroes was not made by Ubisoft, they only published it in North America.

The game was developed by Grasshopper Manufacture and published by Marvelous Entertainment in Japan, Ubisoft in NA and Rising Star Games in EU and Australia.

This is Publishing, not DEVELOPMENT.

Ubisoft was historically very pro-Nintendo, released quite a lot of games when the rest ignored their platforms etc.

They've placed quite high bet on WiiU as well, it's just that it was in deep shit after PS4/Xbone were announced and wrecked it to hell and back performance-wise.

Because Uplay means that they are in complete control of the situation.

Far Cry, AC, Watch Dogs(maybe, in the future).

2014 was pretty shit for them because they were trying to bite more than they could chew releasing I think 4 AAA games in the same year.

To be fair, publishing games does still get some merit.
Ubisoft has the balls to publish something like no more heroes on the damn Wii and let the devs do whatever they want.
Most other publishers wouldn't publish that type of thing unless the developers agreed to censoring and meddling in order to fit what they think will sell well which is indeed what happened with the ps3 version being censored.

Ubisoft can eat shit. They ignored the WiiU when it came to Watch Dogs and said they wouldn't give it to them unless they did well enough, then gave it to them after everyone realized the game was shit months later.

If I had to guess, I'd say that Ubisoft wants to promote nintendo because it's cheaper to develop for. And if nintendo platforms do well, they can just focus on nintendo platforms the most, saving them money.

They did a few until 2012, and the only ported a multiplatform in 2014.

If you check the Wii U lists, you will see that they ported a bunch of their games to the Wii U to test framework, and then stopped once they realized Wii U had no real sales, and PS4/Xbone would be so much more powerful that a multiplat would cripple those games.
