Leve quests to 16, dungeons at ranges where you have good ones to run which is more than I can get into, fates at ranges where you don't prior to 30, Palace of the Dead at ranges where you don't after. Supplement with Main Scenario Quests on your first class.

But no seriously, don't burn yourself out leveling and try to start with one of the classes that doesn't have a dogshit leveling experience. Pugilist, Marauder or Arcanist are pretty decent choices. The game is pretty backloaded but I find it a lot more enjoyable when I'm taking time to play the dozen stupid mini-games, leveling fucking sucks.

Eh. Personally i play MMOs just to level up and have fun exploring the world. Not even games that pride themselves with "a full world of shit to do" have nearly as much as mmos do during leveling and exploring. At cap they end up just revolving around the doing 1% of the total games content for months which drains people.

Sure the ascians are there, but ultimately we don't inherently hunt darkness. And particularly all those ancient allagan devices housing beings of untold power. We're putting that all back into the world.

I liked 3.4 in general. It's not some saving grace of XIV, which i didn't expect it to, because the game is gonna die out anyways.
All I had problems with is the MQ.
For once we have an interesting villain, literal "did nothing wrong" tier one, and I expected that we would maybe beat them once, and then they'd retreat and fuck with us more actively, then we'd slowly learn about their motivations and who they really are, and in the end of the arc we'd have this sad fight where we both know that we're the warriors of light/darkness, which means that we can't give up. And his group would know that we're stronger in every way, but they'd still fight on. And our group would know their motivations at this point, but we both knew that the fight had to be had.

Instead we get a pretty cool fight into a 10min storydumb where they just stop fighting and tell us everything, then the crystal appears and goes "haha hey fampai no problem i'll save your world, there, done. Alright, MC, go to Ala Mhigo to fight some one dimensional big bad again."
Warriors of Darkness was the best thing that could have happened to the story, especially if they did more of the meta stuff, where they reference how they're the same kind of a dungeon group as ours and have to do everything by the games rules too

Nigga this is literally the canon class, both Heavensward and ARR promote it, gives it special Snowflake armor and has the most cuhrayzay combos except maybe Ninja and is a class unique to FF. It's also the most balanced in DPS and Utility with some OP combos.

You want the vanilla FF experience, you go Dragoon or go home. Only other reasons not to do so if you wanna be an edgy nin/monk or you simply prefer tank/mage play style.

ARR was suffering because my motivation to clear through the story was "A talking crystal of the earth told me to do good". As soon as we got the the banquet and HW story, I was given actual motivation to do things. Not to mention whenever we have a story arc with the crystal and Light and shit, we get more characters that speak the olde english

In Warlords of Draenor, the previous WoW expansion, WoW's version of squadrons was quite involved and was required for several things you needed in the game. In Legion, the more recent expansion, it's been tone down to more of a small side distraction like Squadrons are.

People often compared WoW's Garrison missions to Kancolle or another Facebook-tier game where you simply send units on missions and there is no gameplay. Add that it was such a big thing and necessary for so much, and people didn't like it. It felt like a chore.

Basically a facebook game. It's kind of like retainers and the squadron works right now. You choose your followers and put them into missions and wait for the to come back.
The biggest difference between this system and WoWs is that WoWs UI and such makes it look exactly like some kind of facebook game. And now you can even do it with your phone through an app.

Also I think it's tied to the new GC ranks now so if you want to rank up you'll have to train your squadron.

I assume that what they did with bahamut never boosted it and just kept it sustained. If it did boost it, however, they still managed to keep him in chains for a ridiculously long period, so it's a non-issue if people realise that their primals are imprisoned.

Don't forget that during Titan's summoning they were in The Navel and had a bunch of crystals. So I'm guessing that because of this, the aether was much thicker during this scene than it can be else where in Eorzea. Also don't forget that summoning is so much easier now days now that Silvertear Falls was destroyed by the Garleans. Primal summoning was much rarer before that.

PotD is great for DPS classes because of the lack of queue times. The only thing that can slow it down compared to dungeon runs is if dungeon queues are 5 mins with selecting the highest dungeon you can run. Even with dummies a PotD run takes about 35 mins, so see if you que+dungeon run take up the same time. The exp may seem lower in the 1-20 bracket, but 21-50 floors give really good exp to balance it out. I've been leveling a summoner with it and it has been treating me well

Tank and Healer still have it good with just instance running because of insta-ques.

Just don't listen to the HEY DO FATES/DAILIES/LEVES OR OTHER DUMB SHIT. Fates are server dependent and everything else is slower after 20 outside of PotD/Dungeons.

- Alexander Creator is pretty fun but, it could have done more with the time mechanics. The real problem is the loot system for normal is fucking garbage and forces you to run it so much you'll hate it within the month. Savage has a better loot system and from what I've heard it's enjoyable.
- Wondrous Tails is an interesting way to try and get people to run old content but it is completely ruined by the reward system. It's honestly the worst fucking reward system I've ever seen with layers of RNG, from sticker placement to the rewards you get making it a fucking monstrosity that I absolutely hate.
- Squadrons apparently will have more content added in the future to make them more enjoyable but, as of right now it's like they looked at order halls from legion or garrisons from WoD and thought "how can we make them less enjoyable and more of a chore".
- Sophia is a really beautiful fight with neat mechanics that were horribly dummed down even in extreme. One of the mechanics has you on a scale and you need to determine the side to stand on as meteors strike based on the colour and amount hitting but, it's so simplified even in extreme you just look for the side with the blue meteor and stand on the opposite side, no thought required. Could have been an amazing fight but, turns out to just be meh.
Apartments are what I thought they would be, one small room to decorate. Would have been nice to have a balcony to view the zone your have the apartment in but, it's a good alternative to the house. The part that is a real let down is the lobbies for the hotels looked and were talked about like a place for people to sit and talk and all that RP shit but, they are almost as small as the fucking apartments themselves with like 4 benches and a table to sit around. No cool as grand hall where you meet up and talk like a community, huge letdown even for someone who's not an RPer.

Was super pumped for the patch and was let down horribly. Cool ideas, horrible implementation.

Like with most mechanic spams the easiest way to approach it is to break it up into pieces, and know which one to prioritize solving in sequence.

1. Do the math and start running to the side thats going to be lighter
2. Do the math in your head as you run to figure out if its heavy or light, so you know where to stop
2. aim for the middle of the side and look down the length of the arena so you can see which half she spawns on

You know you don't have to calculate anything right? Count the number of tethers. An even number means heavy tilt, and odd number means weak tilt. Then just get to the opposite side of the blue meteor.

And did the tank not make healer's DPS and heals harder? Then that's a commendation from healer to tank.
