Picking anyone other than House

>picking anyone other than House

Explain yourselves Cred Forums

>picking the arrogant recluse who is completely detached from humanity and cares about no one but himself

>not keeping Vegas independent like every single Mojave citizen wants

>dooming humanity to earth because m-muh independence

fuck him
hes an asshole

>Desert Ranger Armor
>First Recon chant

for people that have such an interest in the game to mod it they don't know basic shit

it's just a screen shot i got off of google

Yeah, i picked house because my character was a greedy merc and he promises to make you rich if you help him. In my opinion the choice you make in your first playthrough is the one that matters and i think most people chooses house too.

>picking anyone other than Yes Man

My first playthrough was House. Until near the end I panicked because the NCR started not liking me, and I went Yes Man.

I betrayed House ;-;

>actually playing Fallout 3

is there no way to continue after completing the main story in newvegas?

this

>picking anyone
>not killing every faction leader
>especially yes man
>not completely eradicating every ounce of failing society from the wastes

There's no right choice because they're all shit.

Edgy.

people play Fallout for the story?

Simple. He has a 5 in Intelligence and a 10 in Luck. I can have 10 in both, therefore, I should be able to improve on his work. All I need do is help him throughout his questline, then betray him right before the Second Battle of Hoover Dam.

> Literally has had over 200 years to redevelop society
> Has only established a 200 yard long strip casinos full of corrupt organisations
> Entire area surrounding the strip is under control by another faction

House is a fucking fraud

He didn't have the improved securitrons in 200 yeards idiot, did you pay attention to the story at all?

I kill him so Arcade gives me his quest earlier

>not picking these guys

He also didn't have 200 years to do it in. He was only revived recently.

>not researching the power of Cloud with Elijah then rolling that shit out to eradicate leftovers of civilization save for a small group to restart the history from zero without any outside threats or influence

I thought it would just go through the classic betrayal route of you chose house. And I think a lot of other people thought so as well. I am impressed that obsidian didn't go that route for house.

Unfortunately Elijah is too autistic/hates people too much to think anyone would agree with him so you have to die with the rest of society

>playing FONV
why would I do that? it's a bad game

There's actually a side ending where you team up with him and absolutely facefuck Mojave with hologram soldiers and Cloud.
You need to be evil though.

House was never the scheming type thats why I chose him in my first playtrhough, he was probably the better option as a long term solution.

Hi, Todd. How's life at the office treating you?

You also need to have an antagonistic reputation with the NCR. You're probably only going to ever get that with a Legion playthrough, and who really wants to do one of those once you've already knocked out the achievements?

Yeah, but he was pretty smart as well, so it would be understandable if he made a trap for the character.

When I played I always had the impression he saw the courier as his most trusted enforcer, he didn't expect much more than a killer out of him.
That was a thing I didn't like about house he underestimates the courier too much.

Yeah, I guess. I think it would be less incentives to join with house if he betrayed you. And he might just be used to have a lot of yes-men around him. And the courier was certainly an asset
