Computer spec thread

Here's mine, pretty good ey?

>1920x1080@60hz

LOL

Got two monitors for free from a mate, can't beat free! Had em for three years now.

I don't use my pc for gaming

I like it, nice storage you got there.

>evga

and what do you have user?

Get on my l

>MSI
>ASUS
>ZOTAC

All shit is the same.

The only ones who make bad quality parts are ASRock, Biostar and some chink brands.

>ASRock
>makes bad quality parts
source?

>nice storage
yep I have another one

...

Anyone who uses ASRock parts will tell you that they experienced problems with them.
Not fatal failures, but small things with their motherboards.

Apparently they starting addressing problems with their 1151 motherboards and they are decent now.
But 1150 and older? not exactly reliable, but cheap.

...

I want to upgrade the CPU. Should I wait for X109?

you raided server hdd's? why would you do that?

How is your computer not on fire?

Should I upgrade to a 8GB RX480 Nitro+ or a GTX 1070? If the 1070 then which version is beast?

should i get a 1080 ti when it hits this january?

MSI 1070.

RX480 is as powerful as the GTX 1060, 1070 is really superior to both of them.

...

I found a GTX 1070 G1 Gaming - Gigabyte for sale at 80% market price, is that any good compared to MSI?

...

by a long shot too

If you leave the factory overclock and cooling aside, all cards are the same.

You should look for really good cooling in a card for better overclocking later on.
>I wont overclock
Yes you will, its a GPU.

That sounds good

yep it's wd se hdd's.

The G1 card I'm looking at has 3 fans, pic related

Any different to the MSI one?

but why?

And by that i mean, yes its good.
Both are the same price in newegg anyway.

Gigabyte and MSI make really good cards and have good warranty, doesn't matter which one you get both are good.

the difference is the cooling and factory clock. 3 fans is more than enough.

Bootcamp helps a bit...

Cheers, I'll get the 1070 then

The guy's selling it for 454€, is that a good price?

Rather unconventional, but a 980 and sound card were all it took to turn this thing into a monster gaming rig.

Where are you from?

Some would say $450 is too much considering MSRP is supposed to be $370, but all the 1070s are going for that much and that's about what I got mine for. If you want the price to go down you'll be waiting for some time though.

Your money, m8.

the filename actually proves the picture is from a mac. wtf

Croatia, shit is expensive as fuck here. And eBay is at least 100 euros more

Why the fuck are they so inflated? Even the goddamn retail stores here sell them for 500+ euros.

>10GB RAM
>Geforce 320M
Look at all that RAM, it must be good!

Demand mostly I would say. They're a pretty great upgrade compared to what's out now for the price.

Atleast youre not mexico.
>$500 USD
I guess the GTX 1060 will do for $340.

>inb4 "where's your storage"
I have no need for terabytes of porn and I don't keep many large games on my machine at a time

What's it like living on the surface of the sun?

When I went from Lion to Mountain Lion, 4 gigs wasn't enough anymore. Mavericks made it worse. Replaced one of the 2 gigs with an 8 gig: Everything is copacetic.

Any idea when prices will die down?
Also any idea how long until I'll need to upgrade if I get a 1070?

What about Mexico?

>1060
I'd rather get a RX480 then

That the GTX 1070 is $500 for US, and that is the cheapest one.
If you can afford the GTX 1070 get it, it is worth it over the 2.

here's mine, and i only spent $900 making it
speaking of which, I think it's time for another $400 upgrade

All on Air

but you do have a very competent system if you do decide to gaym

ill buy your cpu for 100$

Those are some nice temps

Lately all I've been using it for is Cred Forums and Youtube.
