In the end, money in this game is superfluous. It isn't needed to do any content (even savage) but it does help especially if you want to have multiple jobs ready for end game. I remember in 2.0 there was a part of the relic quest that demanded vast amounts of materia to complete. The weapon itself was also unneeded but knowing I didn't need to spend money elsewhere made the ordeal seem plausible.

What is it gonna take for people to get better at this game? In 2.0 I remember being able to do party finder groups for a lot of content but now it feels like the only thing I can pub is dungeons and alex normal. I have a raid group and everything but it's strange to feel so much content is only for premades. Even if those fights are easy by today's standards, I liked that people had to do the primals for their relic in 2.0. Now it just feels like any nonhard content is literal busywork tier.

It's not just a display limit user. There's an actual max limit to the amount of debuffs an enemy can have(60 or 80 I think), and that limit is sometimes reached in 24-man raids.

There isn't any such thing in this game. We just established that Blinding Light is just as destructive as Absolute Darkness. The only way that a world works is by having an equal measure of both. Sophia was right, we need to bring equilibrium. This isn't Kingdom Hearts. You need to have a balance of Light and Dark, either extreme causes the world to end.

WAR and DRK can both deeps and tank. PLD can only really tank. It does it's main job well, but it can't branch out very well. It's why good healers are so valuable, since they can "obviously" heal well, but can contribute a lot to DPS too

Its easily the worst dungeon in this game, hardly any interesting gimmicks, lazy background design, has the most boring and formulaic bosses and a poor excuse to throw in a ff6 boss

I am running ARF over and over to get all my i230 pieces -- is there something specific I should be doing during the 2 Nodes to be sure that all the mobs run at me and not my healer so I can CoS and Flash them? When I have a team that is obviously way high ilevel and the node dies real quick I basically have to Flash a ton because CoS has a 25sec cd I imagine being a Paladin doesn't help

second node = have a DPS limit break on the node.
For you specifically, the reinforcements always come in a fixed location. Run past the node up the steps and you can pull aggro onto them early so they dont interrupt the dps.

Those mages disgust me. It's the only good spot(s) to even bother with using LB at all. But to be fair, sometimes there are maximum dpsing healers (especially WHM) that bring one half down so fast while you wait for the second mob to come and be placed, that it's not worth wasting anymore.
