Remember that most people think grinding is a necessity in RPGs and don't ever think to run from battles. These are usually the people who shit on turn-based combat for being too repetitive.

There are none because the same complaints that applied to her in the first game still apply in the second as they've done nothing to address them. Same goes for basically every other character except perhaps Rean.

Rean/Jusis/Millium/Alisa is pretty strong. Rean and Millium can both use delay crafts without breaking formation, so jusis and alisa can buff the entire party easily with Noble Command/Platinum Shield/Heavenly Light. Alisa and Jusis are also great arts users in a pinch, and Millium's S-craft with jusis buffs and Domination is gg.

Just tells us how bad the characters in modern Kiseki really are. In top 5 there are 4 Sora characters for fucks sakes.

Figuring out who did is a challenge since Falcom rarely gives anyone direct composer/arranger credits for album releases.

Cassius with a sword is one of the strongest people on the entire continent. The staff is a less lethal weapon. I mean, still, Cassius can slice a mech in half with his staff, so that's not really saying much, but Cassius is still merely holding back through the use of a weapon that doesn't let him use his full potential.

His full potential is scary. Not only can he stand toe-to-toe with the canonically strongest people in the entire series by himself, but he can also outsmart the most cunning of villains. He is, quite honestly, probably the most powerful strategist in the entire series. Nothing slips past him. He's smart as fuck, wise, and still pretty young.

Mueller's role is basically "Agate with slightly more speed and worse crafts" and Julia's is "melee fighter with tolerable ATS and a good art line." They're both perfectly viable characters, unlike Josette, but neither fill roles you're likely to need at the point where you get them.

Their main selling point otherwise is that they join at level 85/86 if you're underlevelled, I guess.

Yeah, they're totally viable, I just have a hard time justifying them.

Obviously, Estelle and Joshua are forced, and both are better at being physical attackers.

Zane and Agate are worthwhile if you want another physical attacker since their crafts are amazing. Agate can spam s-crafts all day long. Zane gets huge buffs, and Thunder God Kick is broken when fighting groups. Tita can also be a good physical attacker, and double as support with her healing craft. Although she's more useful against groups than bosses.

Then Kloe is the natural support character, fantastic mage and all the healing spells you could want.

If you don't want another physical attack then Olivier or Kevin make good mages. Olivier does more damage, Kevin has a very handy s-craft. Kevin also has the best healing craft in the game. Schera is another good pick, she has a craft that causes another character to move immediately.

All of that considered, it's hard to fit Julia or Mueller in. Most of their crafts are pretty generic.
