first try to get better taste in games, and if that doesn't work, jump off the nearest bridge.

>spend a full week modding GTA V

what do?

Delete and repeat. I have a problem doing it too

>playing the worst game in a series, which in itself is probably the most horrible human creation that has ever seen the light of day.

>Cred Forums hates oblivion now

Is this a meme?

>open the console
>type showspellmaking
>have fun creating the most retarded spells
The spellcrafting is the best thing in morrowind and oblivion, skyrim not having it was a huge letdown. Even with the mod, it's not the same as a legit spell making tool.

Man, this stupid ass leveling system is something else. Even Skyrim's retarded scaling wasn't as bad.

Oblivion is infamous for it's highly flawed level scaling, and for good reason.

Well if you are entertained modding the game but not entertained playing it. Mod it more.

Play Morrowind

I actually like the system of skills increasing through use instead of an XP system. Oblivion's big problem is stuff like bandits in glass armor.

>be of the nigger race in a fantasy world
>not good enough to fight in the arena, so you're stuck as a guide for newbies
>treats everyone like shit because he's empty inside
>leech off the pc success and start idolizing him, because only by proxy you can enjoy the glory of the arena

Was owyn the most bitter character in the entire TES lore?

Just install OOO. Makes it more like Morrowind

but the quest were pretty gud

Well fair enough, I know plenty of reuptable mods that fixes that in Skyrim, but I can't think of any for Oblivion aside from the ENTIRE GAME OVERHAULS like OOC or FCOM

>Oblivion is the worst in the series
>When Casualwind and Arena exist
You can just tell when someone's first Elder Scrolls game was Morrowind.

The oblivion quests did a great job in making you feel a sense of progression from being a lowly newcomer to be a part of something huge, that actually matters. The dark brotherhood in oblivion is one of the best quest lines in any rpg, meanwhile in skyrim you become the chosen one after like two quest, and even killing a fuckin EMPEROR feels like nothing. Or the thief guild questline, when you start as a lowly thief and end up stealing a fuckin elder scroll. Oblivion had the best quests.

how exactly is morrowind more casual than oblivion?

You can only polish a turd so much until you realize it's still a turd.

-Sun Tzu

I mean, unless you pull down Oblivion's difficulty bar way down, it's harder than Morrowind. I'm not sure if there's much more that can be said.

When you're on/v/.

It's just the natural progression of things.

As the new generations of Cred Forums come and go, opinions will change, but the shitposting will be the same.

Joing /esg/.

>I recognize those eyes

So which lolicon mods are you using?

TES games are actually really shit, it turns out.

the combat is harder i'd agree with that, but as an RPG it's not as hardcore. you have regenerating magicka for example, you can sprint at full speed without losing any fatigue and fatigue itself doesn't effect nearly as many actions, all locks can be opened by any character at any level regardless of security skill, etc. there's a bunch of other things i'm forgetting but oblivion was clearly streamlined to appeal to a wider audience.

Go do the black hand quest. They are actually fun in oblivion

Realize it's a shit game & move on.

>But oblivion was clearly streamlined to appeal to a wider audience.
Just like Morrowind was.

Just OCO v2
nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/44676/?
I'm not sure what's so lolicon about a Bosmer's black eyes, but you'd better share it with the thread just to be safe

>you have regenerating magicka for example
All non-regenerating magicka did in Morrowind was force you to rest all the time.

>you can sprint at full speed without losing any fatigue
Better that than losing all your stamina just so you can move slowly instead of even more slowly and then not being able to do anything if you got attacked.

morrowind was the best
oblivion was shit all the time
and some how after skyrim released oblivion became """""Good"""""

oh wow

HAVE YOU HEARD OF THE HIGH ELVES?

some of the things they removed from daggerfall were a necessary sacrifice in order to have a better looking game. but oblivion didn't have that problem, it was running on more powerful hardware but they continued to downsize the RPG elements anyway.

non regenerating magicka forced you to play with more tact, instead of just spamming spells, dodging and healing. you had to observe a situation before you ran into it and figure out your gameplan. and there were several items you could find that regenerated your magicka without resting. as for fatigue, it's absolutely necessary to have in a game with RNG combat.

>spend all afternoon modding oblivion for enhanced graphics
>launch game, immediately drops to 11 fps, literally unplayable

>be so jaded you cant enjoy anything
sucks to be you faggots, I had a good time playing all of them

Certain elements that were in Morrowind were removed from Oblivion because of Engine limitations. It's the same thing, Morrowind was dumbed down in the same way that Oblivion was. Stop trying to defend your meme game. At the very least Oblivion didn't have a "you are the specialist snowflake in the land!" story, like Morrowind and Skyrim.

The problem for me is I've played Oblivion so many times it feels uninteresting now.

And this is 4 years after my last replay

>spend 4 hours modding new vegas
>c2d at some point 40 hours into gameplay and have to figure out what the fuck went wrong

Do the same with Skyrim.

youtube.com/watch?v=D_x-x0gawck

The poisoned apple one is still the best by miles.

Every single bethesda game ever. I spend 10 hours looking for and installing mods, spend 30 minutes playing before I get bored. (Usually all I do is look at the stuff I modded in before I'm bored.)

I tried to play Fallout 4 again recently, I figured it'd been long enough for mods to come out. Nope, no mods that make the game fun. Not even porn mods yet.

>At the very least Oblivion didn't have a "you are the specialist snowflake in the land!" story
Well if had the most boring setting in the whole series. They had to do something to make it unique.

>Spend 3 years developing my game
>Finally release it
>Players get bored after an hour

what do?

My sides

youtube.com/watch?v=wm6FpvcOvC8

>pretending it wasn't hated since it fucking came out
>pretending skyrim existing makes it better by comparison

IT WILL BE A POTATO-FACED, RENAISSANCE FAIR, RUBBER DILDO WAVING SHIT SANDWICH FOREVER

>any of that
>streamlining

that's just removing unnecessary trash, Daggerfalls' skills are a mess, settlements and economy are a mess, the quests are a mess, the entire game is a procedurally generated, dull, ugly slog.

morrowind was on the xbox, so i highly doubt anything was removed from that game because of "engine limitations" in oblivion. they knew they were about to switch their main audience from PC to the consoles and they knew that most console players would not be able to deal with all of Morrowind's RPG elements.

Welcome to Bethesda games.

still the best one

youtube.com/watch?v=LzGsud6ERzY

I spend hours modding skyrim just to get raped to death by musclebound negresses then uninstall an hour later and repeat as needed

Sprinkling candy on a turd still leaves you with a turd.

Welcome to the world of TODD.

You actually spent the entire evening playing Oblivion, that's how you play it.

>spend 12 hours straight back in 2009ish when summer after juinior year began
>installing loads of mods getting everything to work
>spend 5 minutes walking around and have a penis as hard as diamonds literally leaking like a faucet
>cum buckets and never play again

haha fuck this shit

I remember playing Oblivion a lot when it was released on the 360. Then a few years later I tried to play it again on PC and that was the result.
