YOU MUST CONSTRUCT AN ADDITIONAL 4

THE STOCKPILE IS FULL M'LORD

>Bought Starcraft 1 because I have completely forgotten the story in the game, making it very hard to figure out what is going on in Episode 1 of Starcraft II
>mfw no graphic option menu
Was this shit even acceptable back in 1998?

You want a piece of me, boy?

SPAWN MORE OVERLORDS

Since we are posting old as fuck memes...

Wood needed, wood needed, wood needed wood neeededwoodnneeededwoodneededwoodwoodwoodwoodneeded check my 8

Nobody here but us trees

Girugamesh recently broke up, that dude must be in suffering right now.

What kind of settings would you even want?

It's a bunch of 2D sprites. Even resolution doesn't matter because everyone had a CRT that could output 640x480 without any scaling issues.

Another RTS from around the same time, so no was not the standard

So when is Blizzard going to make StarCraft 3? I'd say something like 2022

friendly reminder that RTS genre is dead

Well for starters all game should come with a resolution option
I'm not a ant

Yeah, because giving a massive advantage to the fag with the most recent expensive hardware is the secret to a successful and balanced competitive game.

SILOS NEEDED

I just said that I'm playing the game for singleplayer

DELETE THIS

"This way"
"no that way"

Now that I think about it, should this be one or two quotes?

>terran produces worker
>S
>zerg produces worker
>S, D
>protoss produces worker
>P

...

you wanna piece o' meat, boy?

But I'm clearly the Terran player, why would I want to build pylons?

How do you like my moves, Daggoth?

>check my 8

What did you mean by this?

you can play the entire starcraft 1 storyline in SC2's engine for free just look for it

Because you're a Protoss player who used a Dark Archon to capture an SCV, duh.

playing wc3 4v4s as we speak senpai

what is this game i vaguely remember it but i can't recall it's name...

Well now I just feel like an idiot

AK-47s FOR EVERYONE

[religion of peace intensifies]

Man I miss the time when stories made sense.

Why did they need to construct pylons at all?

Why not just boost the signal from the Nexus to increase warp-in range?

We're talking about a civ that can bend time and space here.

But it seems that you need Heart of the Swarm to play the mod, a game which I don't have.

You dont need anything.

Just download this and follow the magic footprints.

Make sure to get the retro edition for maximum nostalgia

for balance reasons

Anyone else think Goblin Commander and Alien VS predetator extinction are the shit? Why the hell was there no skirmish in avp and why can't we get a new one with modern graphics. Making comfy nests as xenomorphs and leaving a few unhatched eggs along with a body storage chamber was so nice.

How do you even run out of pylons anyway? Like, I always have a shit ton to power my batteries of proton cannons. They're cheap and they attack both land and air units. I love'em to bits, good for boxing people in or turtling. Seriously, have a couple of zealots to protect yourself while you build two lines of proton cannons to your base. Now for the early game, your base is basically impenetrable. Go send your zealots out to guard other mineral deposits until you can build a nexus there, and then build a whole bunch of proton cannons there too. You basically want your entire side of the map just fucking littered with proton cannons, and when your opponent makes a big push you just have a probe sneak up behind them and replace cannons they've destroyed.

Do it right and you can starve them of materials and they won't be able to produce enough strong units to last against your 200 fucking proton cannons.

unless you're facing a hydralisk bust or vulture terrorism it's a complete waste of minerals to build a ton of cannons

>switch to GRID hotkeys
>fixes a majority of the problems
>Already familiar with the general WASD quadrant, but grid means you use TGB sometimes
>Several units have their single hotkey in a far place on the grid for no reason, like Cloak and Uncloak is sometimes on C/V
>Can't customize the grid format of individual units, just the hotkey themselves which ruins the grid idea in the first place.

Still, Grid is superior.

I do it all the time. Like, I'm not saying I win a lot but it's the best way I know how to play as the protoss. They're good at making buildings quickly, since you don't need to expend workers like the other races and it's way easier building a pylon that it is to expand creep. Terrans have missile turrets you can put anywhere, sure, but they only attack flying targets. Plus bunkers need 4 units to hunker down into, which takes up supply but reduces the number of active members in your army. Protoss just have the best defensive building.

Plus, protoss units are expensive and take ages to build. You always need multiple unit training buildings just to keep up. Mass proton cannons is a good way to stall for time until you get your army rolling.

or, you could make units that can move.

I still like to play the GLA soundtrack when I'm just doing chores around the house.

man, starcraft broodwar hd would be great...

I thought Blizzard is working on it right now?

Funny thing about that. I tried something similar with the zerg in SC2. You always have an excess number of drones in case you need a building up, right? So I wanted to try the old turret strategy but with a twist.

Surround the base with crawlers as usual, then have a Queen's creep tumors extend all the way to an enemy base. Then, have my army escort a bunch of crawlers all the way to outside an enemy base and protect them until they settle in. Now just have a bunch of drones burrowed somewhere close but out of the way and they can keep replacing fallen crawlers.

It's pretty slow compared to the protoss thing, but it's nice having moving defesive buildings. It will neeeeever work against a human though, but I had fun trying it out against the COM.

Everyone worries about the meta, or whatever. I like trying silly and stupid ideas like this. Maybe it will work, maybe it won't, but either way it's fun.

>TA faded into obscurity
>will never get mass production RTS games in your lifetime
>stuck with MOBA APM ADHD micro shit

Well
Shit

> It will neeeeever work against a human though

I totally lost against a spine crawler rush the other day though.

Strictly cheese though, you place your hatchery at your opponent's nat and take it from there

I hope so, i was sure i won't give blizz another cent after how much they've fucked all their franchises but playing BW against noobs like me (even non-koreans kick my ass) would make me throw money at them with force of angry god.

they are

>TA faded into obscurity

you got supreme commander tho.

Stronghold senpai

>We're talking about a civ that can bend time and space here.
That canĀ“t even repair their anything.
Who also think retarded blobs on stilts are "too dangerous weapons of war", that needed to be locked away.
And then some other retarded shit written by metzen.

Molesting a corpse is no evidence against it being dead.
