Both 5/5 and 10/10 scales are fine, it's just that 100-point scale that sucks without exception. It's just too accurate to have any kind of sensible rating system for it and you end up being arbitrary with it even if you don't want to be.

I firmly believe no game is deserved a 10/10, it says there's no room for improvement and that its perfect and no game is perfect. That's just my way of thinking, personally reviews are fucking awful as they have to rely on checklists and simplistic grading systems in order to judge quality which isnt too bad in theory, but people consider games that are 7/10 unplayable or awful, because games just can't be mixed in quality, they can't have good and bad aspects, they gotta be PERFECT 10/10 GOTYAY otherwise there's no reason to play them, some of my favorite games have loads of issues and I still love them. Reviews should just focus being critical and heavily analytical rather being a glorified checklist using a grading system that many understand because of school.

Any score that isn't on a purely technical level (6/10 it had a lot of weird bugs in cutscenes but the gameplay was fine, etc.) is just a subjective opinion by some cuntish millenial wallowing in the smells of their own farts.

Gaming journalism as a rule is basically worthless as anything but advertising for game companies. Sad as it is to admit, your best shot at a good review of a game is to watch some LPer you like do a quick look at it, and if you find your interests line up with them, and they like it, odds are you'll like it too.

Hydrus Network is what I use for porn tagging but it's a little slow to open up everytime I want a meme image.
