transcripts in general are hard to read becuase they aren't written like books. They don't write so that characters are understood, so you have to specify every line who says what, and probably what emotion the voice actor would have otherwise conveyed.

However, I don't see how Phoenix Wright is much other than a visual novel, and there are other games I'd rather read than books. I may just have weird tastes though, I read a lot of game analyses, and I've even read shit like the Final Fantasy XII bestiary because it had a surprisingly interesting mythology and monster origins

Sure at times X3 pushes the SNES soundchip beyond what it could muster but I still prefer it to the awful PS1 version which completely butchered the soundtrack

Out of those I literally only remember Groose's theme and the Ballad of the Goddess.

Compare with OoT and Majora where I remember pretty much every goddamn song on there, Wind Waker which has some amazing tracks, even TP has some great tracks though not many as that soundtrack is subpar as fuck.

The Fire Sanctuary track is still excellent though, it's very sleepy and mysterious. Reminds me of a dark forest even though the setting is much different.

Honestly I kind of agree for all soundtracks. Most are meant to compliment the game/film/etc. it's from and stand in the background, it's hard for me to actively listen to. But games do have the advantage of usually not needing the score to be tied to what's going on the screen so you tend to have some vidya soundtracks that are interesting to listen to on their own and take a long time to loop, like Nier Gestalt & Replicant.
