>Love the music in Snowboard Kids series growing up
>Recently dig around for composer
>Find his Youtube account
>He's doing absolutely nothing; three of his four videos are of him just diddling on his guitar
>Can't seem to find evidence of any recent work after 2005
Who is your favorite composer and is he or she still active in the industry?

Why so much hate for Mitsuda?
Does this play during an alien-themed boss fight or something?
Yasunori Mitsuda
Akira Yamaoka
Nobuyoshi Sano
he's still putting out great solo stuff, even started his own company that puts out KORG synths on the DS systems.

board shop was my favourite track
Yoko Taro
Keiichi Okabe
Composer, Character designer, Game planner, Voice actor
Kojima?
Shoji meguro.
Michael McCann is good
>Tomohiko Sato
His last known video game work was on the Fullmetal Alchemist games and some other PS2 titles 2009.
Other than that, yeah, he seems to have taken a step back from industry work.
Shoji Meguro. Damn near everything he shits out is fucking great. is also fucking excellent.
I can't believe i'm the first person to post Martin O'Donnell

Look at all those weebshits
Jeremy Soule coming through as THE BEST (he's also an American) and most underrated composer in history of gaming
>I can't believe i'm the first person to post Martin O'Donnell
fucking weebs man they don't know shit about good music
here come the faggots to ruin another thread
While not my favorite, Spence Nilsen was one of the first composers to catch my attention growing up.

Kenji Ito
Akira yamaoka
Martin O'Donnell
Im not really sure if either of them are still in the industry. Marty might still be composing for Destiny but I have no idea
Hey man I didn't bitch about japanese composers, I just posted my favorite.
Koji Kondo is my second favorite after marty
Bungie fired Marty because marty wasn't okay with how much creative control activision was having.on destiny
There was a huge lawsuit
Eventually he went off and formed his own studio with another ex bungie employee, they are making a PSVR game called golem
>He also worked on Tekken
Holy shit
Uematsu is pretty good
Some tracks from the mobile game he is working on right now

Ko Otani; he's mostly just composing animu shit since SotC.
Pretty much tied with Toby Fox for me. God knows what he's doing.
Tim Follin
He gave up on the industry some time ago. He never had a chance to work on a well known game or franchise.
It's a tie between Yoko Shimomura and Keiichi Okabe.
I didn't like Undertale as much as I thought I would, but goddamn, that OST was legit.
Yoko Shimomura
They finally have her doing something other than fucking Kingdom Hearts, as she'd composing Final Fantasy XV.

Hidenori Shoji for F-Zero GX and Yakuza
I like Ian Livingstone's work at the grid and Formula 1 games. They are so chill and atmospheric, and high energy when they should.
This is the only attention SBK's soundtrack has received in years.

Damn. That really sucks. His work is god tier
breddy gud
I never plated Undertale, but I hope Fox keeps making music. That game had a fantastic soundtrack.
It does suck but bungie was clearly going down the shitter anyways, Joe Staten left a few months prior to marty being fired, and I think either Jason Jones or Marcus Lehto left a year prior to that.
Staten is ironically back at MS now.
>This song is free to download
