I don't think you know what buff means.

>JRPG
>debuffs work even on bosses
one reason I love XIII trilogy! Beat lst boss under 2mins in OG game thanks to SAB+SYN combo

It's a carryover of poor implementations from the olden days when JRPGs were heavily inspired by western RPGs.

You mean debuffs?

>never played games where bosses ignore all stat changes, more specifically yours
wew

What games require you to buff enemies to gain an advantage? Ignoring Reflect or things like that.

Why the fuck would you buff enemies, mate?

Why would you buff enemies? are you stupid or something?

To make them heal your group when they bounce cure from reflect, duh.

>he never did the reject sword strat to one shot valkyrie randgris with reflect damage

how the fuck do you kill it then
spam 50 million worth of acid demo at it?

Name three

>JRPG
>Turn based menu combat where almost every encounter plays out exactly the same

>reading comprehension
If you buff yourself the bosses will damage you as if you weren't buffed, you'll damage them as if you weren't buffed, et cetera.

Name 1 jrpg that does NOT do this

Why are you using buffs on bosses?

This is complete horseshit. Name 3 JRPG's where this happens.

Wild Arms 5
Eternal Sonata
Grandia 3

...all the variants I can think of are Australian or some shit.

thats what you get for overtraining faggot.

>name 3 jrpg's where the boss ignores your buffs
you have to be a special kind of retard to think that this hasnt happened.

I don't play JRPGs, I just condescend on the internet.

That that question up with or

Savage
Also would like to add in Shadow Hearts.

Also FF Tactics if strategy JRPGs count.

ur mums got a nice hairy buff

Which one?
I've been playing 2 and the encounters follow pretty much the same formula now.
>Morph to bird
>Cast Gathering
>Next in combo wipes them out

>play ESO
>too strong for debuffs like stun/slow/interrupt to matter on mobs so you just AoE kill them
>all bosses that you can't roll are immune to stuns slows and roots

what the fuck is the fucking point reeeeeee

We'll shit son if you cheese it's going be samey. Thing is if wanted to you can go at the mobs in so many ways like having you people combo and what not.

>cheese
Difference between a Gathering and non-Gathering is that with non-Gathering it takes 2 or 3 spells more, depending on how the enemies are laid out.

>JRPG's where enemies ignore your higher stats exist
Yeah, no. If anything there's bosses that ignore armor/shields or shit like that, but there's no such a thing as a buss that ignores a +40% magic buff on the caster.

> not changing to to fire knight or earth golem and slapping there shit.
I never really used the wind guy much . I mainly used earth fire and dark. On that note SH has some great ost.
