Yes but you need to levelup the girls anyway. Once you get everyone to lvl100 it's one million after pressing some buttons for 10-15 minutes. You can do it while watching youtube or something. The Clam swimsuit is the only DLC that wasn't free. All of the remaining swimsuit DLC is FREE. You can spend money to acquire it quickly or you can earn it through normal play without spending a single cent.

There are a couple others. The Senran Kagura stuff isn't free.

Their original intention was to release each set with one free suit (ususally the more modest one), and make the more revealing one pay-only. Enough people protested about getting fleeced again after all the doa5 dlc that they backed off after the first set and made everything free. They'll never make the Clam available again, though.

You can get it each time you play a full vacation. You just have to max her out during that vacation. If their level isn't maxed then that generally involves playing volleyball and winning and gifting liked and loved items. If you get the cut scene for the girl at the end of the vacation then you know you've maxed her out.

I haven't got that yet, as the one mission for giving a suit from the owner usually fails for me. I got close and have had a S ranking, so should get it the 2nd time.

Also maxing our the hearts on a girl generally helps with gifting hard to gift swimsuits. I generally run into the issue of wanting to gift a hated suit to the girl and tank her hearts towards the end of a vacation or finish the vacation for the S+ to get the owner XP.

Something else of note. They run events every now and then that allows you to get double owner XP or girl XP. They post about it on their twitter account along with the suits they rotate out.

No money, no content updates. Now we have VV but they adding new content in such a slow pace I doubt it'll ever reach the level of X3.
