I work in an industry where the bottom tier employees can be as young as 16 years old. Almost all of them are into youtube and esports, even the guys who play real sports. Almost every single one who plays games wants to stream.

Growing up with social media has turned everyone into conceited, vein people who think everyone wants to watch them. It's interesting, and sad. Being able to share everything you do, for some reason, makes these kids want to share everything. Only a few older people I know are addicted to social media, but most of these young kids can seriously not go 10 minutes without looking at their phone. I'm glad I dodged this shit by growing up in a the last "normal" years of our world.
