It's the first special where Akira Toriyama himself wrote the story for Bardock. The Bardock TV special that everyone remembers was basically a Toei-written thing that's literally as canon as any of the other Dragon Ball Z movies (ie: not canon).

Surprisingly enough, Toei's writers were way better at telling a story about Bardock than Akira Toriyama was.

The "hands in pockets" stance seems to be based off of Hit utilizing his hands in his pockets as a strategy against Goku though, so that's also something from the manga kinda.

Champa's moveset in games, Gamma Burst Flash is in Heroes now, and Ultra Instinct Goku in Xenoverse 2 seems to have taken a move from Black in the manga (what with the energy ball made of light that also happens to have flame-like plasma surrounding it).

If he has the halo abilities too he'd be great.

Golden Frieza leaks energy like a sieve, the equivalent of SS3, Freezer can only maintain it for a very short while. His is the only case where having a short-lived Install makes sense.

It's also a significant boost in power. Frieza's damage increases to 1.2x and his movement speed increases to the same as Sparking Blast (but doesn't get some of the minor perks like no pushback on block during Super Dash), and that increases to 1.3x with both Gold and Sparking.
Comparatively, Adult Gohan only gets 1.1x damage after spending 7 meter (not including the many other advantages in flexibility and speed of attack startup, damage also goes up to 1.3x with Sparking).

Even a halfassed implementation of rollback netcode kicks the shit out of a good delay based one. There is absolutely no excuse to have delay in 2018. Dragon Ball Zenkai Battle had GGPO. Bamco/ArcSys should have at least tried making their own rollback instead of playing it safe.

Broly and Bardock have always been part of each dragon ball fighting game for well over a decade and anytime a new series is made they're the first to be included in terms of movie/special characters. Broly will always be chosen over any other movie character by the way.
