I don't care about SJWs but just a few seconds looking at the characters in trailers and shit would tell you that they are at least full tumblr.

I'm not saying that communism isn't bad, because it is, but chances are you are under a system that's pretty much just as shit as modern communism. There's like, two little shitty countries with no grandstanding influence have proper government and don't just shit on their citizens and control them through propoganda.

good music, neat design, pleasant environment. Character development is alright, story took a weird direction at the end and barely has gameplay in it.

7/10 RPG with base-level characters so everyone had a "relatable" character, heavy inspiration from Earthbound, Homestuck and general random meme things.

It's a good game that got overblown because muh identifiable characters and muh deeper meanings. It's the same as DDLC since anything meta is picked up as some overtly deep BS.

The writing is pretty cringeworthy, and the exploration is nonexistent. The crocodile and the bear are the only decent characters out of this shitshow even though the bear barely talks at all.
At leats we can thank Alec Holowka for the soundtrack i guess?

i grew up in a small bush town in australia, and there are so many elements of this game that i feel a connection to.

the game is great. i really love narrative in games, and this does it in a really wonderful way. it's a little bit of a platformer, there's a dungeon crawler element, there are branching story-paths. the fact they're anthropomorphic animals doesn't really factor into anything except the aesthetic. anyone that screams furshit are the same people who are going to call it sjw trash because two characters are gay.

the game really isn't political, there's a spoopy plot and really good characterisation. the night before it was released, i went on the creators twitter account and was mortified at how much he was jerking off over socialism. i chose to ignore it and prayed his bullshit didnt seep into the game, and it hasn't. i think the alligator mentions some things offhandedly but it isn't a plot device or anything.

tl;dr:
if you grew up in a small town and don't get up in arms when you see a gay person, or when someone say's the word "socialism" you're not going to hate this game.
the mechanics and writing are wonderful, the story and characterisation are eerie and intriguing and there's plenty to do and absolute replayability.

I liked it, it was cute, captivating enough, not as stupid narrative wise as I thought it would be, and I have a guilty pleasure for small town young people angst shit. But I also pirated it, and I don't think you should pay any money for it, one because the devs are weirdos and two because $20 can buy you an actual game, if it was 5 bucks or something I could recommend it as alright without a hitch.

I really wanted to like this game but the main character you play as is a massive cunt and I could not bring myself to like her. Also the political propaganda was not helping,I wanted a cute game about animals and not listening to Mae how she is opressed by the police despite her breaking the god damn law every few minutes and fascists in a animal game

Near the end of the game you get lectured on how being a careless SJW doesn't help anyone and how your character is acualy selfish and irresponsible.
The most SJW thing about the game is the fact it treats gay people whit respect as in you dont even find out the characters are gay till the game specifically tells you so.

I liked it, but I think it's because I got my copy for free. While others payed money for it. So for me it had zero standards to achieve. I did enjoy the characters and the town they inhabit. I did think the whole "mystery" part of the game falls completely flat and was anticlimatic. The dream bits where by far the best part of the game.

Get in line.
