The american version is generally fixed before it is released in the states.
It's why speed runners insist on playing the Japanese version because they are more broken and exploitable.

In almost all cases these differences make no impact on the player. Unless you 're hunting these glitches out you won't see them. Also the other big reason speedrunners use the Japanese versions is text is the fastest in most cases on Japanese versions.
