I did. I used it to play Drakengard 3 and Wipeout HD.
I liked Wipeout so much I bought the Omega Collection for PS4.
Drakengard 3 is the worst game I've ever really enjoyed.

I thought about it but I'd really only be interested in installing emulators for PS1

You dont need any emulators, just download any iso from emuparadise and run it on the ps3

I don't use it for some reason, I already played most of the games they had to offer.
It's already modded, and I ripped whatever I had.
I do like that load times were significantly reduced for disc only games, but that wasn't enough to keep me interested in using it more.

nah, well it depends
this exploit can only be applied to certain models
CECH-A through CECH-G
CECH-H through CECH-Q
CECH-2000 through CECH-2XXX and CECH-25XX
so basically if your PS3 model is CECH-3000/4000 you cant do it, those are the late slim models and super slim

I hacked mine about a month ago, since then I played Demon's Souls, MGS2 HD, REmaster and am playing DMC1 right now.
I didn't own a PS2 so all these remasters and ports are great for me.
Also looking forward to NG Sigma 2 and Resistance.

Anti-grav racers like Wipeout, F-Zero, Redout etc all have insane learning curves, they'll fuck you in the ass until you get used to them.

Try steering with the d-pad. The analog stick isn't fast enough.
If you stick with the stick, git gud at using the airbrakes, you'll need them.

Legacy collection is great, but it only comes with a digital code for mgs1, and I'll never trust sony to keep their services up forever. Just grab a cheap copy of mgs1 off ebay to go with it and you can play through all of what's considered "canon" aside from mgsv
