also, the show is good. s2 departs from the narrative of s1, but its more about characters. its a slow burn but picks up about halfway through as you get to know the characters better and more plot action happens (as opposed to the first half with is a LOT of character development).
people tend to think that having anything other than non-stop plot is bad. i liked s2, especially toward the middle and end.

They pretty much take the hacks from DEFCON talks. They have a few guys that make sure the hacks are realistic and can be done.
Obviously they don't show the true complexity and everything is sped up. So they just show some commands in terminal but whatever.
They actually took a hack out of the plot because their team didn't think it would work.

Its pretty gay. There's some interesting character development in the beginning. Who is he? Why is he depressed? His cynicism and lack of affect is intriguing, and the actor adds a lot of depth. But then they ruin it by stuffing a token character in every slot and creating a super-cringy "cool-guy" ringleader with zero depth, as well as a literal comic book cartoon villain who "understands what linux is!".
